I predicting a 4-2 , If we win game 3 it will be 4-1. we should go 2-0 at home and hopefully split the away games and if we do that it will be a 4-1 series. I wouldn't put it past Portland to win both of there initial home games though, lillard is playing like a monster. Even if Portland does win both home games though, I have a feeling we will win the game back on our court and beat them on there 3rd home game to take 4-2

I'm thinking 4-2 also but the last series has me nervous. The way Harris, Ellis and Calderon torched us in that series has me scared that Lillard is going to go off. I think Leonard can slow down Aldridge if the officials let him. If that happens we should be able to handle them.
Playing one really good game in our last seven doesn't have me jumping for joy though. If we show a little fire and play aggressive like we did today I'll be happy win or lose.

Did anyone else find it strange how Splitter's only unproductive game resulted in a blowout?

Go easy on the Portland fans! They haven't been this far in this century.

Hopefully Patty does the same thing Blair just did to his old team and play way above what his stats suggest.

RH5- Sorry bout having to put down Dirk this year. It's hard seeing Duncan and Dirk both age.

I know what you mean, but at least dirk as 1 ring. for some reason though Tim the last few years seem to be aging the opposite way. for the past three years, he just seem to be getting younger and younger.

Kinda, but with the Mav's going small for basically the entire game we really didn't need him out there.

I think he's going to be the key guy for us against Portland. If he can contain Aldridge on the offensive end and make him work off screens and around the bucket on the other end that'll give us a massive advantage in the paint and with Portland being so thin up front that could be the difference in the series.

Portland's starters look scary as hell. Besides Mo Williams, their bench doesn't look great.

Mo Williams basically is Portlands bench. Thomas Robinson can contribute as well but he's prone to make some pretty dumb mistakes and Dorrell Wright is okay in small doses.

You're newly registered, acting like you dictate the etiquette around here. That's not how it works. It would be one thing if your post was either witty, original, or good-natured, but it's neither of those. You sounded like someone from the comments section of a Yahoo article. I would expect, and whole-heartedly support, any backlash if any of our fans did that on your or another team's forum.

You were straight up trolling. Starting a thread on our forum called THE SPURS ARE GOING TO DESTROY THE BLAZERS, isn't a good way to start off the series dude.

Looking forward to this series, It should be a great match up. I think this is anyone's series.

Not sure the reason for the troll other than he's new and doesn't know how things work around here.
It's going to be a great series that will be overshadowed by whatever happens in the LAC-OKC series I'm afraid. The media is going to overblow that series x100.

Its gunna be a difficult one for sure. Portland are gunna be hyped after game 6 and i will bet 5 whole british pounds (that's like $200 for you americans) that it'll carry into game 1. Lillard is playing his ass off and LMA is beasting.

I hope game 7 finally makes our guys realise the importance of starting out strong and not just hoping for a **** up from the other team. We were lucky more than once against dallas but i don't think Portland will give us that much leeway.

BUT. I'm also super excited. LEEGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Straight up, before we even play game 1.... the Spurs is a class organization from top to bottom, with fantastic fans, and possibly the best coach in the game.

I obviously am rooting for the Blazers to prevail, and certainly think we have a legitimate shot, especially if we can win either Game 1 or Game 2 on the road. However, even the most ardent Blazer supporter is going to acknowledge that it is an incredibly steep hill to climb.... you just can't replicate the kind of playoff experience and saavy that Duncan/Parker/Ginobili possess.

Hope this series is as entertaining and heart stopping as the Rockets/Blazers series was!! Us fans on either side of the fence should be in for a treat!!! :D

I am glad we got these guys instead of Houston. The Rockets are not a good matchup for us.

Let's end this early. Our dudes need rest.
