One thing i'm looking forward to seeing is Cole's defense on Deron Williams. I'm not really comparing Deron Williams & Kemba Walker or saying Kemba is on Deron William's level but they both play a similar style. Deron Williams is not going to attack our PG's the way a Russell Westbrook or a Tony Parker would consistently. Last year against Brooklyn NoCo did a great job slowing down Deron Williams. I wouldn't mind seeing Cole close out games guarding him if Chalmers can't stay in front of him or picks up a lot of fouls

as long as he's not fouling him at the 3pt line or leaving him wide open at the 3pt line at the end of quarters, got no problem with him closing out games. just please, don't play stupid

Cole gives up 3's but one thing he doesn't do is foul them. I think he's capable of slowing down D-Will as he's showed in the past last season

BROOKLYN...Easily the worst chant in sports. Their arena is boring too. Not a fan at all of the color scheme in the Barclay's Center

On RealGM there not bad. There was one of them who would talk trash about the Heat all the time on the GB during the season but I think he got banned. The Nets mods are pretty cool too...Nets Daily tho is hands down the worst

They only come out at certain times. Before the Raps-Nets series started and after Nets won the first game, they were out in full force and talking lots of trash on the GB and saying it would be an easy series and how they'd sweep the Raptors and how they can't wait to play the Heat. It's not just Nets fans either, but Celtics fans bandwagoning the Nets too. After game 5 ended and Raptors took a 3-2 lead, it was extremely quiet. If Heat somehow lose the first game, you're going to be hearing it from them.

Miami is an easy market to pick on but the reality is...Every market faces the same issues. Pacers PA mocked our fans for leaving early and yet, thats all they do as well. That same PA announcer also forgot that last year they had one of the bottom attendance records while Miami is at the top. BKN talks about their fans and the chant but ignore that they arrive much later than Miami fans(Do they really want to see the photos) and cheer most super stars more than the home team.

Can't wait for Game 3 so that I can bring it up to the fans in BKN....Yea, I'll enjoy that game in BKN.

Now those are the ones I see the most. Outside of the Celtics mods I doubt any of their fans have followed the team before KG & Ray Allen came there. I see Celtics fans on the GB all the time going around talking about how it is going to be Wizards/Nets or Pacers/Nets in the ECF. They're still so salty to this day I love it

That was pretty weak tho on what you said about how the Nets fans were coming out in full force after they won Game 1. Before the series even started, Raps fans were just owning the **** out of them & their team. Nets fans didn't even want to post, that's how bad they were getting owned. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of them come on our board if they win a game in this series. I mean we did get trolled by a fan base that nobody even knew existed in Round 1 (LolCats fans) so anything is possible. Luckily we'll have Raps fans on our side

Any word yet on who starts for Haslem? I'm praying we start Battier and throw him on Pierce. It would be a mistake to let Pierce get to the free throw line and get good looks on Haslem early, those kind of good starts carry into the 4th quarter.

I guess that's the best available option at this point. Pierce is a slower suckier version of Melo, so even not-so-100% Battier should be able to do a respectable job on Pierce.

Nets have a bunch of veteran players who know how to get it done in close games. I think the key for us is to blow them out of the court in the first 3 quarters, literally.

If the game is close in the 4th, we are in a big trouble because Spo is magical at not matching up with his opponent defensively and we play very reactive and overhelping defense due to mismatches and hot-shooting (by any given Nets players). All of our 4 losses against them we lost in the same way, yet Spo has not changed his defensive philosophy even a little bit, and I don't expect him to change anything in this series either.

This person on the GB feels awfully confident in his Nets. I didn't realize that paying $180,000,000 for a 6th seed in the east and narrowly escaping a first round exist was considered a huge success.
