Last factoid.

Vegas lines have the Pacers as 4 point favorite for tonight's game (Game 1).

Go Wizards!

It is interesting to see some picking the Wizards. Also it is interesting to see all except 2 are predicting a 6 or 7 game series.

Pacers in 6. I think the Wiz come out cold tonight (sadly) just setting everything out on the wrong foot. PROVE ME WRONG GUYS.

I still think if that happens we will come out super hard and focused in game 2 to steal it and take HCA back

Skip bayless predicted that we would win in 6 but then lose to the Heat in 5. I liked half of his prediction.

Don't like it. Nope, not one bit. I logged in to find exactly 50% of the votes for "Wizards in 6" - which is probably the best case for the Wiz, with the chance to close out at home IF they can steal one in Indy AND win both at home (or vice versa). So, for aesthetic purposes, I went with Indy in 7. Hope I'm wrong....

Oops. I just voted for Pacers in 7. Haste makes waste. Is there a way to change it?

I am starting to believe in this Wizards team, which is the age-old setup for Bullets/Wizards fan disappointment. Nonetheless, I have the Wizards in 7. This Wizards squad has been relatively healthy and is gelling at the right time. Indiana's game seven against Atlanta gave them some confidence, but they are still vulnerable.

Three of USATODAY's four experts pick the Wiz to beat Indy.

Hard to tell. Did the Pacers finally regain their early season form and are ready to steamroll their competition, as we all expected? Or are we playing the same team that a sub-.500 team took to seven games?

Doesn't help that the Wizards are a COMPLETELY different team than the Hawks.

I have a gut feeling that the Wizards are going to hit the Pacers like a tsunami. Like a storm destroying a mountain, the Wizards are going to wear their opponents down until they are washed into the sea.

Can’t explain why. I just have a feeling we are about to witness something epic.

Wizards in 7.

Nope, don't like it one bit. I hope the team is blocking out all of these pieces - stay off twitter and all other social media. They need to stay hungry, not start to think they have this made. I joke about JInxes and the like, but once the mindset moves into the players' heads (as opposed to those of us who are only observers with no real impact on the outcome), that's when I really do get nervous.

On the other hand, we do have THE WINNINGEST ALL-TIME PLAYOFF COACH IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA on the sidelines. So we got that goin' for us.

Just because Indy won games 6 and 7 doesn't mean they are out of their slump. I think it was just a case of the Hawks feeling the pressure and missing open shots. They died by the 3 the last 2 games.

George beasted against them but you know Ariza is going to make him work just to catch the ball. West is a good player but i don't see him going off on Nene.

I won't make a prediction so as not to jinx them but i think this series is pretty much a tossup. The Wizards have everyone healthy and rested. They played better against the Bulls than they did in the regular season, cutting their turnovers and executing better late in games.

Brings up an interesting question -- what percentage of playoff series are won by the team that takes the first game?

In the NHL more than 2/3 of all series are won by the team that wins the first game -- similar in the NBA I wonder?

In that sense, for sure, seeing one game makes it a lot easier to be "right" in your prediction.
