God, I hope Paderborn don't make it to the BL. They'd be here for one year only, just like Fürth and Braunschweig (it's incredible Braunschweig still have the chance to stay in this league).

I could live with it if they beat Hamburg, though. That would be too funny

What do you guys think? Who will stay in the BL? Will Hamburg really play in the 2nd BL next year?

None of the bottom 3 will win the last game.

Paderborn is a nightmare. I would even rather have Lautern in the league.

It just shows you how big of a gap, financially, there is between first and second Bundesliga and that having a run can even get you promotion to the Bundesliga.

I wouldn't mind Paderborn, because they play the best football of all 2nd Bundesliga sides.

As far as those bottom three of the Bundesliga goes, I also think that none of them will add a single point during their last game and that Hamburg will play in those relegation playoffs, most likely against Fürth.

Though, you never know and I could see Braunschweig beating Hoffenheim 5-3, or something crazy like that, and therefore sending both Nuremburg and Hamburg directly into the 2nd division.

@cgf: Talking about Hoffenheim. Hopp, again, told everyone that the club shall be on it's own and finance itself within the next couple of years, so all those extra millions wouldn't fit in with it.
Though, I just don't believe him, cause only two years ago they spend big on guys like Wiese and Derdiyok, even though they stated the same stuff before.

Also, it seems like they'll buy Baumann and Schwegler for sure.

Schwegler has no cojones if this is true. 2 days after Frankfurts last home game the transfer is rumored to be complete.

Shouldve at least been honest to the fans who have supported him.

Well, I once thought the same of Mainz, Augsburg and Freiburg and now look where they are. That being said, I see HSV making it b/c all their opponents are even worse.

As a Lautern fan, we don't deserve it. Paderborn simply maxes out its talent, and is deservedly in front of Fürth and us. We are only 4th b/c Karlsruhe, Pauli, 60, Union etc. all suck even more.

DFL should make the Bundesliga a 20 team league with 3 direct relegation spots. That would be the best way to get some of the big players of the past back in Bundesliga competition.

Selling out a home game vs. Paderborn is going to be tough for 4/5 of the league.
Meanwhile there is no way that Paderborn finishes any better than 18th in the Bundesliga next year.
The difference from 1st to 2nd league is steep and with the current roster they might struggle to collect 20 points.

The support in Paderborn, which should be crazy at this point since nobody could expect anything like that, isn't that good either. At least from what I've seen over the last weeks.

I don't want them in the league unless that means Hamburg is in the second BL.

Kevin Großkreutz made the tabloids. While partying in Cologne, he allegedly threw a Döner Kebab at a bystander and is getting sued now.

Screw you guys. I'm not just rooting for Paderborn to stay up, I'm rooting for Fuerth to beat HSV in the playoff and will be rooting for them as well. Braunschweig have one of the more fun stories this year and if they could've just stolen one more win along the way to push themselves into the playoff spot it would be the best story this year.

If you can't sell out your stadiums that's on your fans, not the other teams in the league.

i think that's everyones first thought. If you ask 10 people, which bundesliga player would throw a döner kebap at someone, kevin would be the answer 9 times out of 10.
too many urkels on your team, that's why your wins low

That's pretty lame.
I mean, come on Kev, you can do better then that. :P

At least go full Stig Töfting and beat up the DJ because he's playing the wrong music or something...

Honestly, it's not.
There's a certain amount of tickets that will always go to the away team and even if they send them back, there's a whole section just for the visitors fans.
That's something you can see once Hoffenheim or Wolfsburg come to town, cause you can't sell out those games.

Still, I'm rooting for Paderborn to make it directly, cause I doubt they'd make it playing those two games against the 16th of the Bundesliga.

In other news, it seems like Juan Arango will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach and join Tijuana of Mexico, given that Borussia only offered him a one year deal, with an option for a second season depending on games played, while he'll receive a two year deal(+1 year optional) by the mexican side.

So we'll lose the best freekick taker of the world and the finest left foot that ever played for Gladbach.

Always loved Arango's goals.

I think the main reason he leaves is probably that Favre wouldn't guarantee him a starting spot anymore.

My favorite player in Bundesliga by far. Always loved him. His dribbling skills are very good. Wish he came to Galatasaray when he was younger.

It's a shame to see a legend leave, but it's time, Arrango's gotten pretty washed up and pretty useless beyond that left foot. He was never a great defender but now he's a big liability.

As for the away block, sure you may not sell those tickets, but if you're selling out your home stands that should be enough.

Giefer to Schalke is stupid. What is he supposed to do there? Besides warming the bench of course.

Well, Fährmann has played a pretty good season so I guess it will turn out just like you expect. But Fährmann doesn't have a big name. So if Fährmann is injured or picks up a stupid red somewhere this might be Giefer's chance to take his spot.

In other news, Schweinsteiger and other players told Guardiola they want to play with 2 defensive midfielders in the home game vs. Real Madrid.
I don't know what is more stupid by Guardiola. Wanting to play with only one DM in the first place when every goal against basically decided the tie in Madrids favour or selecting the defensively non-existent Kroos for the role of the 2nd DM after granting the players wish. Sorry.
