I think whoever wins tonight will win the series. Something’s gotta give. Washington hasn't won in Indy since 2006? or is it 2007? Washington is supremely confident right now and I see them coming out and punching Indy in the gut. Ariza will neutralize Paul George and Roy Hibbert will continue to struggle. The more he's in the game the better. The three annoying Pacers this series will be George Hill cause he'll hit timely jumpers, David West cause he's wet from 15-18, and Luis Scola cause he's just generally annoying.

Wallace and Shelbourne have us in 6... That's good. They were the two that had us beating CHI

I don't know if this has been posted on a different thread. But just in case it hasn't.

Barkley and Grant Hill got the Wizards. Kenny Smith thinking Pacers will win.

At halftime, Kenny decided its best to trust his eyes. Wish I would find it but I couldn't.

And how about all that talk about the best back court in the league ?

Like IND, the board is going to have to catch up with dealing with success.

The teams still needs bench depth upgrades but

Wall, Beal, Trevor A, Nene and Gortat

That's LEGIT

I must not have been paying much attention this season, but George Hill is a terrible point guard. I'm not even certain he's a good player. Sure he'll hit a few jumpers but that's because he's a total non-threat to do anything he get's left open so his man can help other's on defense, but I'm not so sure Hibbert is the #1 problem with the Pacers. It's the fact that they can't run an offense because George Hill is a bum.

The Pacers have been better each of the last two seasons offensively with Hill in the game. That has not been true so far in this year's playoffs, but it was in a much larger sample size last season.

He's a solid player. Would probably be better suited to a significant backup role, but he's not The Problem in Indy. Not to say he's not A problem -- his decline this season is one issue. But the bigger ones are Hibbert and West. Then there's the significant drop-offs by George and Stephenson since the early part of the season. And THEN there's the issue of replacing Hansbrough (a decent bench guy) with Scola (who was terrible this season).

Defensively we can consistently stop everything as long as we're willing to give the jumpshot to West and Scola. I think I'm fine with that. If they can beat us 4 out of 7 times by West and Scola both hitting mid-range shots at such a high clip that they outscore us then kudos to those guys.
