Lil B will be the MVP of the Clippers-Thunder series, though.

Last week on ESPN LA 710am, Michael Thompson almost said exaclty the same thing.

Marc asked him about SPO, Micheal said what SPO did is showing up in front of Riley, giving the ball to Lebron and let him play, kneeling down at the side line and pretending to observe.

I Gotta admit even though KD deserves the MVP it still feels bad to not see LeBron get it... Damn get that finals MVP LeBron.

You guys are so ridiculous with the criticism of Spoelstra but I guess the same would have been said about Riley anytime he lost with the showtime Lakers if the internet was invented. Spoelstra is considered by many of his own colleague's a top coach in the NBA and one of the smartest ones. Just because he doesn't play Beasley does not make him a bad coach.

Hey, for the record, I don't think he is a bad coach. I don't think he is one of the best coaches, though by a long shot. I think he can do a lot lot better with what he has. Give this team to any coach in the league, and I can't think of too many coaches that may do worse. Maybe Scott Brooks. I do actually like Spo as a coach and a person.. I think he is (intentionally or not) hilarious. 8-)

And of course, we won back to back championships with Spo as a coach, so whatever man, he must be doing something right.

That's how I feel knowing how hard Lebron works and how much we depend on him. People like to point out when Lebron messes up here and there, but we live and die by how he plays and what he does in the court.

Congrats to KD though, he does deserve it

What bothers me the most is that this could've easily been LeBron's MVP.

I admit that I am not a fan......BUT

This is the post season, I will be rooting for and probably defending him BIG TIME..He's my coach and I need him to get to that 3peat.

Actually I thought Spo did a marvelous job in the first round. He was spot on with his in game adjustments...He's always been great at adjusting from game to game in the playoffs so hats off to him. Can't wait to see how he outcoaches Kidd in this series vs Brooklyn

I think Spo could not attend the games and out couch Kidd. Honestly.

If Mark Jackson does get fired....Phil Jackson should jump on that ASAP. I like Mark Jackson for the Knicks.

That is just a bunch of crap based on pure self-serving speculation. Spo has never missed the playoffs in his career, has been to the NBA finals in the 3 seasons with the Big 3 and won 2 championships. That is a total of 12 playoffs series wins out of 13 (counting this season against Charlotte) since the Big 3. So you are saying that another coach would've won 13 out 13? Really? Why don't I take swing at speculating and say that no other coach could've won 12 out of 13 like Spo. Sounds stupid, right?

Give a man credit where credit is due. Why is it so hard for people to accept that NOBODY is perfect and appreciate the job a person does. The stakes were high for Spo from the beginning and he has responded. What else do you want from the man before stopping with the mockery. It is tiring.

I know some of you want the Heat to go 82-0 every season because we have LeBron. That is just unrealistic. We have great players but basketball is still about competition. Not even Jordan went 82-0 with Phil Jackson.

Can we wait for the Spo argument threads when the playoffs are over? Don't give a **** right now, he's our coach for the playoffs!

So since Mark Jackson was fired does that mean he'll announce games for abc/espn again? He was great at that.

We should Fire Spo and hire a passionate coach like Jackson

A lot of people on RealGM find him annoying on commentary. I loved Mark Jackson as a play by play guy, especially when he would say "mama there goes that man" for LeBron & D. Wade & "hand down, man down". Mark Jackson was completely unbiased on pbp & i'll listen to him over Hubie Brown & Mike Tirico any day of the week easily
