I *really* like Dinwiddie. The ACL just scares the **** out of me. If he loses a step...

He declared a few weeks ago. He has skills but yeah, that ACL is a bummer.

When do teams begin working out players for the draft? I'd like to think we have our new front office and coaching staff in place by then.

If you're going strictly off of highlights, I have no idea how you can think Exum ISN'T a point guard but Lavine IS. Exum has shown much more in that area regardless of whether you think he's a PG or not.

As for Lavine, he's just not a good player. His production the second half of the season was pathetic.

Workouts usually begin after the pre-draft camp in Chicago and after the early entry deadline (60 days prior to the draft; so technically they could work out with teams now).

I never said LaVine is a PG. I said he's a SG. And so is Exum, in my opinion.

Just concur that highlights show that Exum is definitely a PG, especially in his final ASC game in December. He can play either position but he's a point guard to begin with.

I think LaVine could be a very Lillard-like SG, but I'm curious to see what he measures out at. He is listed at 6'5" but Dx has him at 6'3" in shoes at a couple of camps in 2012. Also agree on Exum as a SG, along with Smart. This might be the deepest SG draft that I can remember.

If that is the case then he is the first pick by a mile. a 6'6"-6'7" Tony Parker would be insane.

That's probably not the case though.

Watching Exum gives me similar feelings to when I first saw some of Giannis' game. I have him firmly at #2 right now.

Lavine reminds me of Havitall. Do not want.

I 100% agree here...if he really looks like Tony Parker during the workouts, plus has the IQ/passion that some people have mentioned, he is the first pick for me, no question. If that is the case, he would jump Jabari for me, but I just don't know much about him at all.

Exum is my #1 by a slim margin ahead of Wiggins/Embiid. *I'd love to see more but what's available has been pretty convincing. Psyched for the pre-draft camp and workouts to begin.

I've only seen the limited footage out there, but haven't seen anything to make me think Exum can't play PG.

I'll take bets right now that Exum is not an NBA PG.

Some team may try him there, but they'll eventually move him to the 2 or 3. It's happened with a few guys. People even thought LeBron was a PG during his rookie year. All those "Magic" comparisons.

I believe Exum is a PG like Evan Turner is a PG. What's that you say? Evan Turner's not a PG? That's not what we were told before:

https://www.google.com/search?q=evan+tu ... channel=sb

But again, just my opinion. I'm not rooting against Exum, I'm just not enamored. Maybe he is Tony Parker plus height. In that case, looking forward to his Hall of Fame career.

I think Exum has a chance to start working out for teams and blowing them away, like Penny Hardaway did. A top ten point guard who is 6'6 and can shoot enough to keep defenses honest is very valuable.

Ok, I don't mean to be a dick or instigate anything, but based on those highlights, he looks like a SG that can pass fairly well, or he looks like a PG with no left hand who's only move is to dribble with his right hand quickly to his left side in hopes he can blow by the 6 foot Junior Varsity guy guarding him.

People knock Wiggins handle, and that could be really old footage, but this kind of seems like the Emperors new wardrobe kind of thing. People were throwing things like ELITE first step out there, and while I agree his one move to the left is solid, I am just not sure it is ELITE compared to NBA players.

Can't wait to see more of him, but that video doesn't do a damn thing to make me think 6'6 Tony Parker. Maybe I need to go back and watch the world championship games or whatever it is called.

Maybe I've seen the wrong Exum highlights. Where are the clips with the Penny Hardaway vision and the Tony Parker finishes? I'm going to DX to rewatch some vids right now. You dudes are usually pretty sharp so maybe I'm trippin.
