Heat had 2009 triple overtime Bulls/Celtics on in locker room before the game. LeBron says he felt that got Ray Allen "juiced up."

Actually, after he dropped a career-high 61pts and it seemed certain that he had pulled ahead of KD, his IQ went to zero, his efficiency dropped, and he went through a stretch where he didn't play like the LeBron that we're used to.

It really was his to lose as the Heat was tied for the best record record and Furant would eventually come down to earth although Durant might not have had James challenged him.

Overall, I don 't think James played well enough to win it over the course of the regular season. He did have a very good season but te expectations for him are rightfully insane because he's so good. He understandably (all those games played) coasted on defense and he turned the ball over way too much. Just a little bit fewer turnovers and his PER would be over 30 and his WS/48 would be .280+ AND I think that would translate into a few more wins which of course might have been a bad thing considering how the playoffs seedings have worked out. He's taken care of the ball a lot better this far in the playoffs and our offense has found its flow. In addition, next year has to be the year he shoots 80% or so from the line. Bosh, Love, Aldridge, Bass, Lopez, etc., all do.

These comments from Battier & Ray just proves that we were just "coasting" against the Nets in the regular season

I have always thought that the teams like Nets are fool's gold in the regular season because their main strength is their depth. The depth becomes pretty useless in the playoffs when rotation is tightened and well-adjusted to your opponents.

Good luck relying on guys like Anderson, Teletovic, Blatche and the rest of scrubs that you can throw at LeBrons and Wades of the world 8-)

Idk if most of y'all were watching Inside the NBA but for the first time Barkley actually brought some knowledge. You can not beat us with perimeter players, especially perimeter players who are fossils. The reason why teams like the Pacers & the Wizards have had success this year is because they have twin towers in West-Hibbert & Nene-Gortat. Both teams also have some young athletic perimeter players & can play inside out. Brooklyn is capable of winning 1 or 2 games against us but there is no way in hell this series is going 7

I actually laugh at the fact that Brooklyn swore up & down that they matchup great with us, they swear they matched up so great with us to tank into our bracket. Even though we've had a lot of success against Toronto, I think they would put on more of a challenge than Brooklyn based off Valanciunas going off against us plus Kyle Lowry being a pit bull. If Amir Johnson learned how to play like how he did in Game 7 consistently that Raps team could be way better than what they were

 I don't usually want to agree with Barkley, but I agree with him on that.

Blooklyn do match up well with us, but with lesser players all around esp. at SG, SF, and PF positions.
We got this 8-)

I stopped watching after the KD MVP presentation. You have to beat us inside and have to have knock down shooters. If we played against Shaq's Orlando teams, we'd be in deep **** but were not playing against them. We played really well tonight but Portland let me down, I wasn't rooting for them but I expected a better game though but it'll still be a close series, I hope.

Shaq & Penny Hardaway's Orlando's teams were good but I really hate to compare older team era's to newer teams era's. That's almost like saying if we would've had prime D-Wade, Toronto CB & 2008 Ray on this team, etc.

But yea second round Game 1's have been not competitive at all but I expect Game 2's to be much closer & competitive

Hope all western game series go to 7.

I wish we could have found a way to keep mason. All around good guy that a lot of people here crucified with their unrealistic expectations of a 14th man, glad he's still around the team

What I like the most is that the nets wasted those scrub ass last second threes at the end of the clock. You know those threes that only go in against the heat? They made like 3 of them.
