Same thoughts, SA will beat LAC if that happens most likely while I like OKC's chances if they were to meet the Spurs

I kinda want a part 2 of the Spurs-Heat, but at the end of the day, you can't really choose anyone man - bring on anyone and see if they really deserve that 3-peat. You just have to believe that whoever comes, dies

It's all about matchups and I'm pretty sure Houston puts up a better fight against the Spurs.

Don't see much of hope for Blazers. Their pick-n-roll defense has been their Achilles going back to last season and Spurs just hammered that to death last night. Not sure there's anything to do with the defensive awfulness of Aldridge/Lopez. Hopefully Stotts has some tricks left in the bag to at least make it a series.

(yeah I hate game one overreactions as well haha)

Portland is still in this series, don't let 1 game get to you. The Spurs really aren't all that great this year. I do feel like Houston would've had a better chance at knocking the Spurs out but I wouldn't count out the Blazers just yet

Is it just me or somebody else find KD's speach a little bit too much dramatic?

I'm no where near a KD hater, I know it's a touchee moment and he's been through a lot, but still it's just regular season mvp, he can save those emotional explosions after NBA Final.

It's a moment for him to talk about life outside of basketball and how basketball is just a small aspect of a much bigger picture. I'm glad he opened up like that because he's not going to get much chance from here on out. I guess i appreciate the humanity that these players rarely show. Durant is quite likable off the court imo. its the Leborn/Heat haters + KD stans that make me dislike him on the court.

Yeah, I thought that was a cute speech.

I believe that none of us hasn't won NBA regular season MVP yet, so I am not going to judge how emotional you can be with winning that award.

I am guessing that it's pretty sweet that you are recognized for having played a better regular season than players like LeBron James 8-)

Well, in that case you are not missing out much 8-)

Oprah might be slightly more entertaining than KD's MVP speech.

For those interested in such things, Duncan is about to be In 2nd place in all time playoff win shares, surpassing Kareem. LeBron just passed Shaq and Wilt for 5th and will soon pass Magic for 4th barring injury. Pretty incredible.

62-20 with a +7.7 point differential is not that great to you?

"Not that great" as in not enough to be afraid of them if we meet them in the Finals again this year

Spurs do not scare me for some reason. Maybe because their core guys are older than ours (mainly respective big 3s).

When their outside shooting is on, they look unbeatable, but yeah, do not let that fool or scare you.

The Spurs great efficiency and shooting % are somewhat exaggerated by beating up on crappy teams.. at least, of all teams, I expect Heat's defense to keep them in check.

Spurs also play good defense. I'm not even sure why, but they do. Duncan, Tiago and kawhi must be really good cuz damn. Anyway, the thing with the spurs is you won't get calls against them. So even if LeBron is aggressive he ain't getting no fts. Though I don't fear them, I understand that they play the style of ball that can beat us
