Want to join a gym because I can't afford all the heavier weights I need, but I'm afraid of getting ripped off like I was the 1st time I joined a gym.
You go to cancel and they make you go through a maze just to be able to avoid being charged after cancellation.
Hide in car on Friday nights so cat thinks I have a social life crew
Telemarketers hang up on me crew
Jehovah's Witnesses close my door for me crew
Parents get upset when I visit crew
Homeless people won't accept money from me crew

A lot of the posters here go to gyms. Should ask where they go.

Do you go to a gym?

I can only pick between two gyms: Fitness 19 and Crunch. These are the two closest to my house. There is also an LA Fitness not too far away, but they charge too much, imo.
And reading reviews of both local gyms, I either find someone who gives it 5 stars because it's absolutely perfect or someone complaining about anything and everything related to the gym, sharing nightmare gym stories while name-dropping specific employees.

It'd be so much easier if I just had the extra cash for heavier weights. You can only exercise with 25 lb dumbbells for so long...

No. I workout with my schools track team. We do some crossfit weight stuff and a **** of pushups, but that's about it.

well it depends what kind of workouts u do m8 and if your goal is strength training or body building. for some people cross fitness actually is a good option, you just have to be careful of who your training with and if they know their ****.

i assume those gyms have everythign you need tho, it doesnt really matter what the gym is as long as they have barbells, squat racks, benches and free weight. friendly staff and requisite equipment is literally all that matters. friendly staff less so if you just dont give a ****, but i wouldnt pay money to ****.

i go to LA fitness, i have no problems with it. like everything in life, you get what you pay for. so if you dont want to pay anything, dont expect much.

you should really only be able to work out with 25lb dumbbells for like a month max.

I usually stick to ON creatine monohydrate caps but recently I went without but for a while and observed little to no change. Only supplement I'm on now is Whey.

no planet fitness around you? They popping up everywhere, $10/month...will definetly face over crowdedness at times but you get what you pay for, still beats 40-50/month for 24hr fitness, majority of their amenities I dont even use.
