Yeah, he was pressing and **** it up big time.

This is his first playoff experience. I haven't watched him much this year, but I think he is more mature now, and he has enough weapons around him that he knows that he doesn't have to shoot a lot to be successful. He sucks at it anyway. Shooting was never his strength and not going to be one in this series either, he will find a way to lead his team at home.

BIRDMAN BIRDMAN wrote:John Wall owes the Wizards a win the next game in this series. He NEEDS to step up in Game 3 cuz he single-handedly **** up in the last 3 minutes of that game 2. What's even head-scratching is, it was always between a 1-3 point game in that time. Damn. Though you still gotta like their chances in the series.

Oh well, at least they got 1 and that was the plan, now time for them to get these in DC and protect homecourt.

I hope LAC/OKC goes 7 and I hope not to see another blow-out in POR-SA tonight. Im curious how Lillard responds

Beal needs to handle the ball down the stretch he makes better decisions than Wall

It's definitely hero ball, but it's somewhat reliable when Westbrook can get to the basket at will unless they trap him at the top of the key. Nobody can stay in front of him and nobody can stop Durant from getting in the paint either it seems. On the other hand, they did also make some tough ISO jumpers which may not continue to fall and OKC's margin of error seems small since thE LAC can score really well themselves.

Going to Blake for 20 ft jumpers wasn't a good idea off the pick and roll. When Paul wanted a better shot off of the pick and roll, he got it (his runner/teardrop or a lob to Jordan/Griffin). Griffin wasn't getting any foul calls at all at the rim and struggled with Ibaka but I think he's making progress there and the LAC shouldn't give up on that.

Or that

Beal might have a higher ceiling than Wall. Either way, they have a bright future as far as backcourt goes.

Hey, I'm sure you get this a lot, but are you a Heat fan/Stephen Curry fan?

Not worried about the Wizards or the Pacers..... both those teams only have one gear. Wizards beat Chicago in Round 1 and could be up 2-0 this series and they haven't done anything otherworldly. We have those extra gears and we haven't even played our best yet. Just hope they go 7 games and that we take care of the Nets in 5 at most..

um cant compare wall and beal - on is a shooting guard the other is a point guard. Wall's only real flaw is he cant shoot. That doesn't make beal a better all around player, Beal is a better shooter for sure

Man, can you imagine if Lebron did something like this? RealGM would implode. I know Durant is skinny but man he just went overboard trying to sell that.

True. I think the other poster was just annoyed by the fact that Wall was messing up everything last night down the stretch, not just shooting. I'm sure he will play better in front of his home crowd tomorrow. I also think that the Pacers did play a little better defensively protecting the paint. Wiz. need to make open shots to win this series.

every time i think about the possibility of playing the Wizards in the ECF, all i think about is when they grabbed like 100 rebounds in the first 5 minutes of one of the games in the regular season against us

That changed the whole momentum of the game. Fix was in from when the game started
Should've known the NBA wasn't gonna allow OKC to lose. I don't even know why I bother watching their games anymore.

Damn, they stole that from us? And the most spoiled team in the NBA as far as calls go.

Portland is just a mismatch. I actually thought they would be able to steal this game based on their youth on the perimeter

Looking more and more like Portland just isn't in the same league as the Spurs at the moment....but regardless of what happens in this series, this was a successful season for the Blazers.
