Would not be suprised for us to trade up into the first round and go after S or Corner depending on who's there. . because it doesn't make sense

its his size, not a lot of ppl think he can take hits at the next level or his tactics of gettin away will work in the NFL. which are legit concerns. i see manzel taking Bree's and Wilson type path where he just makes all the teams regret not taking him

I am very happy. He is more slot WR than TE. He is huge and fast. Too big for CBs, too fast for LBs. Our OC had Graham the last few years and I be the uses Ebron in a very similar way. Seriously, other than a trade down, best case scenario for me.

How fun would a Pettigrew/Ebron/Fauria set be, with Bush and Bell in the backfield? The play action and mismatch possibilities are endless!

I understand that we got great value at that pick, however we have so many areas that we need to address, we signed a WR and extended Grew, we needed a Safety, OT, DT. don't understand the thinking

I think I'm going to watch it from the gym so that when the Lions trade a ton of picks to get Watkins I can use that rage as fuel

Should be a wild ride this year, especially with the fluidity around where the QBs will go.

Your going to be so swole tomorrow. haha

I hate the pick, which lead to all kinds of GAINZ!

Seriously though, this just feels like the FO didn't have a plan after Gilbert and Barr were gone, so we went for a shiny pass catcher. At some point Stafford needs to make a player better, instead of signing high profile FA's and draft picks.

God I hate this pick so much. Our defense is terrible, especially the secondary, and what do we do, get a TE

All on how you look at it,pick him up and stash him, stafford dosent show that hes capable of running this team this season,I could see them looking at other options

Our FO continues to make Drew Sharp look like a genius. Just absolutely (Please Use More Appropriate Word) move after (Please Use More Appropriate Word) move, if we didn't have Grew, i'd understand. but absolutely dumb

You guys are being way too dramatic. Giving Joe Lombardi, who has worked with Jimmy Graham for years, a very similar weapon? Talk about the perfect OC to utilize Ebron.

Our pass catchers were still lacking. CJ, Tate and then not much. We needed a guy for Stafford to throw to because it is a passing league. We still have picks past the first round...we will fill some holes, don't worry. Next year when our offense is off the chain we can bring this thread up and have a good chuckle.

not really, we paid him a sh* of guranteed money that's going to count against our cap, be hard pressed to trade him, so wasting this high of a pick especially when we have other needs would be dumb. Though we are trending towards dumb picks

We addressed most of our offensive issues in FA. Signing tate to boat load of money, Pettigrew to decent money. Bush also can play in the slot, we also have Fauria who should develop. At some point, staffords got to be a QB that makes his receivers better, not the other way around.

Defense wins championships, that's borderline fact, our defense has so many holes and we need talent. i don't know how you could argue that this pick is what Detroit needed

I could see a team out there taking a chance, thinking that det sucks at developing its QB.I wonder how much further he is going to fall, what do you think about dennard ?
