I'm completely stoked and VERY curious to see how the Rangers will handle a Pens team shocked that they lost Game 1. Think Rangers need to play very physical, slow down those Pens' wingers and put all the traffic in front of their mediocre goaltending.

Here's a case where the Pens peaked earlier in the season and the Rangers peaked near the end of the season. The Pens looked like they were sleepwalking in game one but did enough to stretch the game into overtime. I'm expecting that the Rangers are true to form and this will be another seven game series which can go either way IMHO.

Horribly un=necessary penalty with 3:28 left in the final period gives the Pens a power play that puts it 2-0 and pretty much out of reach. Otherwise, Rangers did a very good job defensively but squandered all the offensive power plays to tie and/or get ahead.

That's fine. Splitting it 1-1 in Pittsburgh. Pivotal Game 3 is the series.

Will the Rangers ever win back to back games this postseason?

I'm not confident in this one...fatigue seems like it's setting in with some mental errors they made.

Rangers have played 6 playoff games in 9 days (is that right?). That's a lot of hawkey.

I agree. The fatigue is getting to them. Also, did not like "tweak" to the Power Play. Gotta just take it one game at a time. Even the series and it's 2/3.

The only team warming the seats during the playoffs is on right now.

PP suck. Can't score 5v5. A million turnovers. Best players are MIA.

This series is over.

Rangers POUR out the offense. 4-1 so far. There WILL be a Game 6 for the ONLY NY team to make the playoffs thus far.

Rangers won this one for Marty St Louis who lost his mom Thursday. You gotta love their passion and their effort. I wished the New York Knicks team had this spirit.

They can blow as much sunshine as they'd like up the Pens' behind. The score is 3-1. Rangers look FOCUSED and hungry. If they draw even, they'll be energized like never before.

Adversity brings teams together.
