Ok after watching what this Portland team did to the Rockets, is it okay for me to jump on the "I fear the Spurs" bandwagon

Portland is a young team, only reason they looked so good was Houston played no defense. That and Alridge had a ridiculous two games to start. After that he went pretty cold, and has been. Those two games he had 40+ pts to start the series kind of made it too much for Houston to come back from. I'm honestly surprised they got to the second round.

Portland is young and they can't play defense, they never stood a chance. Being scared of the Spurs won't help anything we need to face whoever is in front of us have confidence in the Heat.

Fine fine. I am done watching the Spurs until the finals though (IF we were to see them again).

Which is strange, because they play a very pretty form of basketball. They just play largely below the rim, so it's not exciting. I loved the Finals last year. I felt it might have been the best 7 games of basketball we've ever had. The passing, defensive rotations and overall high BBIQ we saw with the two teams was simply awe inspiring. Yet, I can't watch the Spurs play other teams. I'm playing MLB on the PS4 right now. LOL.

I wasn't fooled by that Houston series, Portland is what they always were throughout the season, a team that doesn't know what defense is..

Now I wish Houston would've won. They would challenge SAS much more than Portland did

I'm glad Houston is not playing tho. Not seeing James Harden flop & flail his arms like a fish has been amazing

Re: Around the NBA 9.0 (Playoffs Edition)
Like I said before, I was torn back when HOU/POR was still playing cuz I knew HOU will put in more fight than POR, but like dream said I couldn't stand Harden lol........reason I wanted it to go 7 to see who really deserved to come out on top but the basketball gods have spoken with that Lillard shot, so I guess can't do nothing more. Had SA in 6 but at this rate, it might be 5 max

It was exciting because we were playing
If that was Spurs vs Pacers or some ****, I bet only 2 people in the US would have watched the finals.

Re: Around the NBA 9.0 (Playoffs Edition)
Blazers are the equivalent of Raptors in the East. As close as some hot shooting made it seem, neither belonged in R2. Houston would of at least put up a fight.
I think at this point it's either going to be OKC or SAS coming out of the West.

Re: Around the NBA 9.0 (Playoffs Edition)
Doesn't matter if Spurs make short work of the Blazers, they didn't look so fearsome when Dallas took them to 7 in the first round. And they're going to have to play either the Clips or the Thunder--both strong teams--to get to the Finals again. They've already looked vulnerable and they'll be challenged.
I'm more interested in who we are getting in the Conference Finals, Indy or Washington. Not sure who I prefer at this point. Hibbert's re-awakening in game 2 makes me pause about wanting them, though their implosion as a team was so complete and long-lasting up until game 2 that I have a hard time crediting it too much.
Washington is athletic in the backcourt and the wings and big & strong down low. Very balanced, I like them a lot, but they're not ready for us I don't think. I'd assume we return to a bigger starting lineup for them, probably UD, though I wouldn't be opposed to Oden seeing some minutes against them.

This is the exact reason why I jumped of the "Fear the Spurs" train. They're beatable and this time around I don't see us putting ourselves in that Game 6 position or letting Danny Green go off like that again
Pacers or Wizards doesn't really matter to me. This Pacers team is very fragile. They're an accident waiting to happen. Wouldn't mind sending them to death again for the 3rd straight year. Wizards like you say are a very balanced team & I like them too but they've had a ton of inexperienced mistakes that they won't get away with against us. Can't be missing FT's & chucking up consecutive 3's like they did against Indy in Game 2 if they play us in the ECF. That series would be over quickly if they do that

That POR team lack playoff experience, they need to win game 3, WAS also needs to win game 3. Miami needs to win one of the games in NJ, might as we'll be Game 3.

Since Andrew Bynum was traded from the LA Lakers he has played in 29 games in 2 seasons, appeared on the roster of 4 teams and has made roughly $30,000,000 in the process.
