him being a failure in Seattle tells me that he is just another Nnamdi. another raider who was overrated here that are actually nowhere near in reality.
I don't miss him at all. I think Kasa will be a very good blocking TE and Rivera will become a very good receiving TE that Rickey Dudley was supposed to be.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/i ... ach-miller but he wasn't targeted that much in Seattle... they have a really good receiver core and a run first team... but his blocking was also key in their run offense which i miss... run dmc needs running room lol

currently? NOPE.

I grew up in LA, used to work near the LA sports arena and became a clippers fan way back when Doc was actually playing for us. never was a laker fan, since I could not afford their tickets unlike the clips. currently reside in Oregon and attended UCSF, the medical campus for Cal.

Ok so grew up here that counts for a lot. But you didn't have to afford the ticks just watch them on TV. Ok so ur a Cal Bear fan 2 I see...so when you were growing up in LA you just waited to go against the grian and root against the best LA team Shame on U lol

I frankly do not understand

#1 to question why people become fans of whatever the team they cheer for
#2 the mentality of the people who actually cheer for teams that you cannot afford the tickets of the teams whom intentionally out-price your socioeconomic class or schools you did not attend.
#3 the idea of cheering for the most successful team just because they are.

although i do understand that people without success in their personal lives tend to like something else that are to identify themselves with.

PS- and BTW how is that TV watching coming along for ya? do you watch your Lakers or the Dodgers for that matter, on TV? if you are not getting the Dodgers, with your logic, how can you be a fan?
not trying to give you crap, but you did rub us the wrong way with questioning our clipper nation's pride.

But you don't have to buy tickets to support your team. That's what TV is for and I currently have TWC so that's how I watch my Lakes and Dodge. I was just wondering how with all the winning the Lakes did you never got enticed to Jumpship?

the clipper fans are not bandwagoners. I do remember lots of classmates in high school who claimed to be laker fans rocking out the bulls gear when Jordan's bulls beat the magic's lakers for their first championship.

if that is how you judge a fandom, no thanks.

Miller is a good blocking back. I do give him respect for that regard. there was a time when i thought Miller could have been the next dave casper, but i have changed my mind since.

Hey Dilly, let's drop this clippers-lakers ****. you will never convince any of us the clipper fans to cheer for your team, and visa versa.

however, we are all raider fans here in raiders forum, let's stick to raiders discussion, shall we?

now, going back to the draft in hand, a defensive tackle is one glaring need, but I also see a need for a WR as we are with James Jones ( a solid #2 and a vet, but not the #1 guy) Denarius Moore ( a good up and coming #2 guy, but again, not a #1 guy), then Rod Streater ( whom I think could grow into the role, but as of right now, a #2 or even #3 slot guy) and Holmes ( a depth guy) and we need a playmaker in our receiving corp. Marquis could be that guy. he is in the mold of DeSean Jackson although Lee's 40 time isn't where it should be for a smaller, speedy receiver.

I agree we need a big bully DT up front for our 3-4 to be successful but Carr and Lee as offensive playmakers enticed me to much. So many options galore for Reggie

do you really want a QB though? I have listed Derek Carr as one of our targets because he is probably one of the best remaining as well as what Reggie has expressed before makes me to believe that we are high on him, but with Schaub on board and still having McGloin in the fold along with Trent signed, I don't see the QB as a priority need for us right now, especially Derek Carr is a project that will take some seasoning to become a legitimate starter and we do not have a good track record of grooming a QB in last 3 decades.

for me,

NIx > Lee > Hageman > Hyde > then Carr. hell, I would even pick Murphy or even Kyle Van Noy before I take Carr. but I also see the benefit of having a high ceiling QB sitting behind Schaub rather than a questionable overachiever McGloin.

I really want the DE Kony Ealy our line would be set for the future. But we better start to groom a QB bcuz Matt can't play forever and he's coming over his worst year

admittedly i forgot about our signing of Smith.
at that rate....I would take a fat bodied nose clogging up life for us.

where does Woodley go?

Kony is very good, it's just that now we have Tuck/Woodley/Smith/Mack/Sio but ya you can never have enough pass rush. I guess it all comes down to who gets drafted before us.

Exactly and I got a feeling Houston might take Carr part 2 so we mines well go all out Defense or Lee

possibly, and without thinking about their history with David, I can see this to be the logical choice for them, but the history of the older Carr in mind, do you think the Texans still take the younger Carr?

i have my doubts and ultimately they go with Jimmy Garoppolo even if he is slightly less projected. just having the name Carr for the second time, especially if he fails, would be enough to roll heads after the next season.

as ar as going defense, if we don't go with DT like Nix or Hageman, what about another OLB in Jeremiah Attaochu?

or, if we of with a WR, there is also Donte Moncrief, although not the same projected playmaker, he is a big target at 6-2

They should he's waaayyy better than Dave plus he got a cannon. What about Oline with Cyrus 6"7 HUGGGE...and I like Adams or Lee and WR.
