Wittman is an inarticulate mumbler, I've seen enough.

Leadership isn't the issue.

Lack of execution on offense is what has killed the Wizards the past two games.

The loss in game two was painful, but to see Washington come out this listless in game three, with absolutely zero clue on how to execute in the half court is troubling.

It speaks to a failure by the coaching staff to put this team in a position to be successful.

Letting Beal and Nene steer us off the cliff in the third without making a single adjustment to what the Pacers were doing defensively is completely unacceptable.

Taking the ball out of Walls hands and making him play off the ball, what is the point in that?

BTW, we cannot let FAH1223 off the hook for starting a game thread after a loss.

Nene can only play so many games straight...Once he gets lazy on the picks it bother Beals shots considering he usually runs them with nene...Once beal shot stops going in....it allows stephenson to play loosely and get more rebounds once that happens we have to put more energy into getting back...we have a very fragile system and right now it's broken
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

The high pick and roll needs to disappear pronto. It crowds the zone, and negates our advantage we have with Wall.

Ariza had 15 boards, you can't tell me that he can't match up with West.

I want the Wizards to go small with Ariza at the four. Start Webster at the three, and if he can't get it done, give Porter a chance to play on the wings with Beal, Wall and Ariza.

Now we're seeing why Nene's career is what it is

It has taken 4 days and 2 games for Vogel to make us look like a D-league squad. I'm not sure their could be a more damning indictment of Wittman considering what the Hawks were able to do against the Pacers.

Wittman in the PC.

Wall needs to stay aggressive, was hesitating. Fight through it, Washington played a clunker, Wizards need to let it go. Be more aggressive, we got hesitant, had good looks, didn't make them. Missed free throws and it snowballed.

All things I expected to hear, and I don't want to hear.

This was not one of those nights, it was the continuation of the struggle Washington faced in quarters two, three and four and Washington hasn't made a single adjustment.

He's the contemporary Ji.

If you'all recall, I had a nice run at the regular season going and after the last regular season win, FAH didn't care and just started the first playoff game thread anyway. Tonight is probably delayed bad karma for that.

FAH = Ji

LyricalRico wrote:This team needs a leader. For all the talk of vets, there isn't anybody who I would call "the heart and soul" of this team. This was a game where you need that kind of guy. And if you don't have that guy, it has to come from the coach but we don't have that either.

Maybe between now and Sunday somebody steps up to do that and makes sure these guys are ready to play in game four. Or at least convince them to not go out looking like little kids playing their older brother.

Nivek put a stat up that says Ariza is the best player.

I think he is possibly the best leader.

Ariza PC.

We didn't play our type of game, we let the Pacers dictate the pace, didn't move the ball, didn't play with energy.

Turned the ball over, didn't run our offense, doesn't think it was what the Pacers did, but them not executing the way they're capable off.

Thinks we took bad shots, no ball movement, lot's of one on one basketball.

Not worried about Wall, he is the leader of that team, he's smart, loves the game, and is sure he'll come back and play better.

Thinks Pacers played tougher than they did in the third.

Miller, you're just itching for someone.

But as JWiz says, there are limits to her powers.
