And that picture right there shows exactly how much of a bitch he's become. He RARELY splits screens anymore...he used to do it all the time in Utah and in his first year here. Now he's super hesitant to do anything like that and he can't generate any offense anymore.

what do you mean what happened to him? this is nothing new. he has been getting outplayed by average-to-poor point gaurds sporadically with semi-high frequency the past 2 seasons.

this was expected.

Well, I've only been watching the Nets this closely this season because of KG.. But I've seen D-Will play countless times and I've never felt he's been this poor. I was really impressed by him during the 2nd half of last year, he was clearly not the problem at that point. Now, he's getting outplayed by average PGs! A guy on a freaking max contract, in his prime years is getting outplayed by Chalmers!

You guys that know him better than I do, is it mental? Or is he hurt? What's the problem? He can't even take guys off the dribble anymore.

he was getting outplay by average point gaurds last year too. there were just too many excuses with that team to really pin anything on him.

main problems are:

1) he doesnt play hard consistently
2) he has declined and is older
3) injuries

he basically got fat, old, injured, and paid

It's literally everything. He's got confidence issues, he's got injuries, and his work ethic isn't great. I mean, he was out of shape the first few months of last season, which was the first year of playing in Brooklyn. After he JUST signed a 100 million dollar contract. Like, seriously, WTF? That's Eddy Curry levels of bull ****.

He just took two shots of cortisone injections in his ankle before Game 7 and in Miami before Game 1. He said he felt really good, so his injury excuse should stop. He flat out doesn't care. That's exactly what it looks like.

This is an appalling graphic.

The worst contract in all of pro sports.

We'd even be better with a PG like Reggie Jackson.

Of course it does. But I don't get that mad when I see him rebounding, defending, and passing at a high level. He does other things, and he plays with so much intensity.

It bothers me more when our franchise player literally does nothing.

I get that but your starting center who is basically 7 feet tall should be able to complete layups...like for any NBA player that is inexcusable.

True. Even Perkins would've made that shot.
