Had a feeling we'd do this after the Johnson pick last year. He's this year's testing god.

Didn't expect us to take 3 wide receivers.

I think that the ILBs were falling like bricks, and we probably had the QB we wanted taken off the board. I think we will scramble to bring in some ILBs in free agency after the draft.

I really hope so. Hawk and Jones have been blah and idk how much Barrington is going to impact that defense. Need more competition at that spot.

I agree on ILBs, I don't know that we ever really wanted a QB, I think they like Tolzien as a development guy and there is no way we are carrying more than 3 QBs, I don't know what they do because I'm not sure if Tolzien would stick around if he was on the PS and I can't see them carrying 3 on the 53 man.

Does anyone think any guy available in the last 3 rounds would be be able to beat out Tolzien?

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I would have picked Tajh Boyd over Tolzien.

Dude certainly has the measurables you want in a wr. Should be a battle in camp for those last couple wr roster spots. Possible they keep 6. You have Rodgers it's best to make sure he has weapons.

As far as ilb goes it would have been nice to add someone but after mosley and sharzier went there was really no lock to beat out Jones or hawk. In the later rounds I'm not sure there were better projects than barrington or Lattimore. I'm sure they'll have a couple good priority udfa ilbs that will get a real shot to make the team. Heck who knows maybe they will even sign a vet for depth.

We kept Lattimore and he needs to start.

I agree that taking 3 WRs seems like a bit much, but I'm sure we'll keep 5 and you never know how things can shake out. One injury and all three guys could make the 53 man.

I think many guys could have. I liked Franklin, Murray, and Price particularly. And others would have beaten out Tolzien too. I'm confident of that. It's a chore for Tolzien just to drop back in step with the natural push of the d-line and then throw balls with the requisite oomph or accuracy to complete them. And he's a big sack and turnover liability for that reason too. It's like a less extreme version of Brohm. Though, I guess we'll still have opportunities at better qb's than Tolzien in udfa. I just wish it wasn't left up to the QB's themselves to decide. They might see Rodgers and Flynn and not like their chances.
