OTFantasy Lineups:2014 Playoff Teams with Franchise Players

Post#1 » by tugs » Mon May 12, 2014 6:52 am

Going semi-OT since there's not much to talk about with our team. Given the same playoffs seeding this year and circumstances (injured/suspended players not playing), who do you think can win it all if you add a team's former "best" player (at their primes during their tenure) in their current roster? best is subjective. fit-wise doesn't need to be the team's best scorer, rebounder, etc.

Initially my choice was Chicago but I got torn when I thought of other teams.

2014 Bulls + Michael Jordan

2014 Heat + Shaquille O'neal

2014 Rockets + Hakeem Olajuwon

2014 Spurs + David Robinson

Would love to see TMac with the current Rockets, Ray Allen with OKC, Gary Payton with OKC (slide Westbrook to 2), Clyde Drexler with Portland, Vince Carter with Toronto, Reggie Miller or Jermaine O'neal with Indiana.

Would still go with the Bulls because of MJ.

Hardly the worst thread ever...do you not remember Star24?

MJ with the Bulls would be tough, but, man...LeBron, Wade, Bosh AND prime Shaq? That would be gnarly.

Before your time, EArl. But let's keep it on topic.

The more I think about it, I don't even believe MJ + this 2014 Bulls team could even beat the 90s Bulls teams.
