That part isn't true, surprisingly a lot of them love what they do, and show it. At least that's what I've seen. The top level girls (only ones you should mess with) don't work as often as people think. They get a lot of older men who give them craploads of money just for their time...they take them out and wine n dine them for example, and they only "work" a couple days a week and a couple months a year...and most stop when they're done with school...they say it beats the hell out of regular work and they get to have fun.

Idk about how it is here in the us, but I was in Thailand for two weeks last October. The massage parlors completely vary across different regions. In some of the financial centers in Bangkok, you'll find very professional massage parlors that aren't involved in this mess... They're pretty much older women. In fact, you get better massages for only slightly more than a bad parlor. In the hostel area/red light district, it varies.

The sad part in those areas, even Phuket to an extent, is that these massage parlors may only get like 2-3 customers all day. If no one comes through, the women don't get paid. Also, what I realized when I got to Phuket is that you'll find a lot of women that look real young but are mothers (or worse trannies lol).

So essentially these people are getting paid. I had a woman who looked mid 20s but really had two kids -oldest 9 years old. After that, I just became way too wary and didn't even think about it.

Overall though, in Thailand prostitution is easy. It doesn't take too much cash to get them to do whatever you like - they're pretty much broke. But remember that the parlors in the red light districts/party towns and Bangkok are probably very different. But of anyone does dare, just make sure you're aware of your surroundings... If you're too drunk, what'll happen is that you'll pass out and wake up the next morning missing a few things lol.

I don't look down on people either, I just know it is not right for me. I would love to legalize it, tax it, and regulate it. It is "the worlds oldest profession" we need to take the power out of the hands of pimps and criminals and start making some money off of that to fix our roads.
