If it's going to take a top 10 pick (in a suggested trade for Afflalo) to learn to be an NBA starter -- on a rebuilding team no less -- then I'd rather trade KCP and just be done with it.

I'd just draft and keep Vonleh. However, I might make the trade if Gordon is the only one available at that point.

I think Vonleh is more nearly than Gordon to play (well) the SF position, but neither are SF.

True. Your idea sounds good to me. I thought Harris played the 3 in Orlando.
He's another tweener AKA a face-up 4 in today's nba.

I'd be all for this but not seeing how we're getting Harris or Harkless for the right to move up 4 spots in a 5-player draft. According to many folks, there's little gap between players 8-15 in this year's draft. You probably don't give up very good young assets for the right to pick a few spots earlier.

Also Harris isn't really one of them, but 'today's NBA' is more into stretch 4s than ever before. Our own lack of shooting bigs this year should remind you of their importance.

(Also, Harris is 21 years old and just put up good numbers this year on good efficiency. He didn't break out as a star but he' still a very solid prospect.)

If we make a S&T with Monroe for Anderson, maybe Smith could play as SF.

I don't know why you are not studying for being GM in the NBA, you could be great!!! And you finally could see your dream fulfilled, a great IQ NBA team with a total lack of athleticism.

Your Rodman brain is taking over again, take a deep breath & relax my good man. My posts pre draft on Drummond expressed how in love with athletic freaks I am so that comment is your Rodman brain in full effect yet again.

I want a bball team that plays high IQ ball with as much athleticism & lock down defense as we can get in today's modern NBA. I do not want a team of Javale McGee's & Josh Smith's.

Basically I want a newer version of the 04 Pistons with more offense because you cant score 85ppg now a days & win many games. I saw you compare Sheed to Josh Smith earlier in the sense that we somehow take dumb asses & make them great here. That might be the worst comparison i've ever seen.

Rasheed is one of the highest IQ bigs that has ever played in the NBA, Josh Smith one of the lowest ever.

He did? That's borderline idiotic.

From the thread about how good Drum & Monroe are together-

Yeah, because you're not a bad boy, you're a soft boy, or even the softest boy. Detroit has been always home of the stupid players who play great here because his effort and the coach system. Sheed, Rodman... I want these guys, coach in the right system Smith, but I don't want to see Monroe here playing without soul.

& thats not even the funniest thing he has said today, see the last quote in my sig. He is the gift that keeps on giving.

HE CALLED RODMAN STUPID TOO???? Freaking Chuck Daly wanted the NBA scoring champ off the team in favor of a 3rd year Rodman so he could play him important 4th quarter minutes. But he was stupid? Why do I have to share oxygen with people who don't use their brains?

He's a Euro, they didnt even know about bball til the mid 90s (you see the Barcelona Olympics? lol) plus he seems really young so I bet his first recollection of Rodman is the multi color hair Bulls Rodman.

Even with that, the comment is still idiotic.

If available, I'd give #8 for Jrue. He'd be a fantastic addition to this team.
