The loss killed the teams hopes and dreams. This is the final game until we talk about not having anymore draft picks and how much money Prok spent. My angus is peppered.

I'm believing til the end, we're not eliminated until the Heat win 4 games against us.

But realistically speaking...we're most likely finished. Wouldn't surprise me if the Heat blow us out in game 5.

This series has been closer than people will give us credit for though. Both of us blew the other team out: game 1 for them, game 3 for us. The other 2 games went down to the wire, the Heat just made more plays than us down the stretch (games 2 and 4).

The difference has been that their franchise player comes through when his team needs him, and ours doesn't.

I want believe, but deep down I know that this is most likely the last Nets game this season. We absolutely blew it tonight.

This has been a frustrating season to say the least, so ending it this way was fitting but incredibly disappointing. I'm hoping the guys give it their all and at least humor us fans a little.

I won't give up until the end.

If Paul gets the last 2 shots last night, the Nets would have won. He was rolling in Q4.

You guys sit there and cling to worthless concepts such as hope. The season will mercifully end for this group on Wednesday and with it I hope that heads roll

The Nets have lost 3 out of 4 games. To even spin this as being close is a joke.

They should have protected homecourt. They pissed the game away. That's the reality.

The storyline is pretty much that LeBron dominated for his team when he needed to and Miami came through. Hate to say it but Miami is on a roll. The funny thing about last night is that Wade and Bosh did not even do anything special to warrant a Miami win but the key difference was having the best player on your team. That was the storyline last night.

Lebron was just outstanding yesterday, he carried that team. He was the only reason why the score was so close throughout, the rest of the Heat team were anonymous. Apart from Chalmers in the first few minutes of the first and Bosh for that 3, they were non-existent. We actually played really well throughout the game, don't think anybody here can blame the players, then Kidd just had the most epic of brain farts at such a crucial stage.

That was definitely a painful loss, the least we can do is probably get one more game or so, just for kicks and giggles. BTW, awesome sig jeff

The only joke here is this post.

Anyway, i'll be watching but deep down i know we probably won't be winning this one. We had to take the game last night.

Lbj is tired. Bkn has a good chance of taking next game. If they go hard and desperate next game and beat miami, all of a sudden it's 3-2 going back to bkn with a chance to tie.

No one will remember months from now that "Game 2 was close until"

They will remember the Nets getting their asses beat 4 out of 5 games.

What a joke. Do you want to give this team a cookie for some of the **** we've seen in this series?

the Deron Williams as a franchise player experiment is a failure. We just traded a ton of assets to be cannon fodder.

The franchise is FUBAR'd right now and you're trying to act like this team remotely played up to the Heat's level.

Real talk, I'm disappointed the Heat lost a game this series. Was really hoping they would have swept the Nets. This old ass team shouldn't even be in this spot. The Raps and Heat would have been a way better matchup. The NBA is only getting 5 games out of this series.

Knicks aren't even in the playoffs, but still demand more attention than this old ass squad that BARELY squeaked by the Raps with the help of some suspect officiating.

NOBODY cares about the Knicks and nobody mentions the Knicks. The Raptors haven't beaten Miami in any basketball game since 2009. GTFO with your garbage.

Enjoy your suspension because it will not be a quick exit, though. Real talk.

Who the **** cares about what people will remember or not? that's your problem, you worry too much about what other people think. I'm talking from what i'm seeing out of the games, if you don't agree with me i honestly couldn't care less, you are entitled to your doom and gloom attitude.
