And relegation for 2nd Bundesliga will be Bielefeld vs Darmstadt.

Dresden lost at home against Bielefeld even though they came back from 0-2 to tie the game. After that(a draw would've been enough for Dresden) they still ran forward and conceeded a counter attack to be relegated into 3rd division.

Will be interesting to see what happens with that club cause they'll certainly receive yet another hefty fine(the fans forced the ref to stop the game for 15 minutes) and with all those debts they've got. Could easily be a relegation directly into the 4th division.

Point forward wrote:Dresden goes down to the 3. Liga. Even a 11-vs-10 advantage and some "help" from smoke bombing "fans" did not help.

Dresden had that 11 vs 10 advantage for about 20 minutes, before one of their players got sent off.

I'm done with Tuchel. Great coach but that's about it.

I'm sure if Tuchel would've been honest about his intentions to leave and didn't negotiate with Schalke and Leverkusen behind Heidels back they would've found a solution that pleases both Mainz 05 and his new club.

Love that Heidel is showing balls and not letting him leave for nothing before his contract runs out.

I really don't understand what Tuchel is doing. Always liked him, he's a great coach, but what is he doing now? And why?

Paderborn made it. Congrats to them. I don't expect them to be any better than Braunschweig but I hope they prove me wrong. I'll be rooting so hard for Fürth to make it against HSV.

Kinda OT but I wish Dresden nothing but the worst. Their fans are a disgrace, I hope they never make it back to the second BL and will just relegate to the 4th division. Nobody needs that crappy club.

Kasper Hjulmand is supposed to be the favourite for our HC position. Never heard of him before.

So Veh is coaching Stuttgart now (again). Didn't he leave Frankfurt because he was sick of losing or something like that?

BL coaches are confusing these days.

Nah, he left because he only wanted to sign a one-year contract and Frankfurt wanted to give him a two-year contract. Now he has signed a two-year contract with Stuttgart. Still confusing.

Wrong, too. He left because he wanted to invest money on the transfer market.

He is delusional if you ask me. Of course he is accustomed to winning with Stuttgart a few years back and wants to get back in a situation where he can compete for titles in the league but he is asking too much from his clubs.

Before 13/14 he told the management he isn't going to stay if they sell any key player and forced them to spent 7 mil. € net. Eintracht has never spent that much in the last decade. In winter he wanted additions to the squad again but Eintracht couldn't offer him more than a couple low price players.
Had they sold Rode at that time, they could've bought a couple new players in the winter window or the upcoming summer window.

So now he leaves Eintracht because the two options he had were selling key players to finance his shopping frenzy or keeping the team together without huge additions.

The result if you ask me is that Eintrachts roster is going to be weaker next season than it is this season. Rode is gone for nothing, Schwegler is gone for next to nothing and there is probably not enough money left to meet Hoffenheim's asking price for Joselu. They will finish better next season in the league because they have no EL games anymore but their roster will be a bit weaker than this season.

Stuttgart has promissed him 15 mil. € to work with. In 2 years when the contract is over and the money all wasted he will leave. Unless a guy like Werner is sold for 20 mil. € by then and he can continue his shopping frenzy.

In other news: Choupo Moting said he has never spoken with AS Rome. Last straw I can grab that he might still stay at Mainz. Although I consider the likelihood like 3% with Tuchel gone. :noway:

I think EMCM(what a name  ) will wait a little longer and hopes to play the WC to upgrade his value.

In the end it will be about him going to a team that is a little more ambitious then Mainz with him still having a shot at the starting eleven.
We'll see how that plays out and I wouldn't mind him at Gladbach with Arango gone and us being beaten by Leverkusen for Drmic's services.

BTW: It seems like Leverkusen really wants to upgrade the team and those rumors of about 40 mil for new players being available might come true.
After securing the services of Nuremburgs Josip Drmic they're now bidding on Hakan Calhanoglu of HSV and are said to be offering 12 mil euros.
Calhanoglu's manager also said that his client wants to leave Hamburg and that Leverkusen would be a great fit.
Though, Hamburg does not want to sell him and their "investor" Kühne is said to be alright paying for the debts they've got so they can play another year in the Bundesliga.

In the ZDF sportstudio like a week ago he said he wants the situation solved before the WC.

That Tuchel is gone might not necessarily be a bad sign, though. EMCM seemed to be visible pissed at times in the Hinrunde, that he only got subbed in midway through the 2nd half.
Maybe with a new coach he's gonna stay....then again I consider it maybe 3%. I don't believe he will go to a different club in Germany, though.

Seems like Hertha will be really active this summer, there's a lot of talking about possible additions for next season. Preetz traveled to Basel to talk about Stocker, a guy I would love to see in Berlin.

Given ur 2nd half of the season you better add some new players.

Lasogga is coming back but Ramos.is.leaving. Still 3 or 4 more.qualuty players are sorely needed on ur roster.

Yeah, definitely. Hegeler was a good start (knows Luhukay, came here for free) and Stocker would be really nice. I hope Lasogga stays and we can also keep Skjelbred. But Luhukay already said that he'll need quite a few additions to work with and the management seems to be willing to give him some new players.

I would look to add Zoltan Stieber from Fürth if I was Preetz. He shouldnt be too expensive and he is a quality player.

Sadly, he didnt make it under Tuchel who prefered the hard worker Müller over the more technically skilled Stieber. I would welcome Stieber back with open arms but given he never got a fair chance in Mainz this will never happen.

When Stieber and Müller entered Mainz I was really excited about Stieber and thought Müller would be gone in 2 years at latest. I still think Stieber is more talented than Müller.

Fürth looking good so far, Hamburg still looks like a team that shouldn't play in the BL.

Azemi should've scored a hattrick today.

Stoker would be great, but my impression was that he had struggled significantly when asked to play over the right, and with Schulz's break through season I'm not sure I'd like to see him come block the kid.

Although if he did join and Schulz started to get frustrated we'd gladly take him across town so that we don't run out of steam in the race for promotion next year!...granted I don't think we'll do too much as a lot of those promising kids started to join Quiring and Jopek in the first team, plus Jopek himself should contribute much more he moves further and further away from that knee injury.

Schulz isn't going anywhere, Luhukay loves that guy!

I was at some Union games this year, love their stadium and their fans. Would be cool to see them in the BL, but it's not going to happen as long as Berlin's clubs aren't able to play well for both halves of a season

How about Hany Mukhtar on loan? I think he could be good for you guys and I don't really want to see him in Leipzig because he'll never come back if he's good there.

Dortmund will crush Bayern tomorrow. Book it.

Stieber was fantastic yesterday. He'll be good next season, hopefully in the Bundesliga.
