Poor dogs gonna get euthanized. Its the kids fault for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If I was the dog I would have done the same. Quite possibly would have gone for the throat.

youre gonna blame the 10 yr old kid for being in "the wrong place at the wrong time"? That phrase is normally used to absolve guilt, not place it.

dog got feral and deserves to be put down. human safety is paramount.

Dog knew it wasn't his turf... I once had a massive Doberman come into my garage when I was under a car and start growling at me and acting like he was going to attack... My mom's miniture Dachshund went nuts, mauled the hell out of the Doby and chased it about a half mile down the road... I had to go get her otherwise I think she would have kept going...

And that's the second best story with that dog...

The first was my dad and I made the miscalculation of taking her up with us above Bishop to go hiking in the Sierras... We were halfway through the first leg of our hike when we came around a bend in the trail and a huge bull was in the middle of the trail... Apparently the ranchers can use the land around there as grazing land because they've been there longer than the national parks...
Anyway, that bull took a look at us and made an aggressive move towards us and that same dog lost it and chased that bull about a mile and a half down the trail.
My dad and I were worried the bull would get hurt and we'd have to pay for it.

Actually I believe the dog was the neighbors dog and the kid was on his property.

in that case euthanize the kid

i mean every dog attacks 10 year olds who manage to stumble on to the peripherals of their property - its totally justified and not warranting a reprimand

go dogs

**** humans

Here in Austin, all these **** feel the need to bring their dogs with them everywhere... It's usually the kid-less baby-boomers that are the worst... They literally think their dogs are equal to kids...
Home depot is crowded as hell on the weekends but these dicks gotta bring their enormous dogs with them...
The dogs are overwhelmed and hate it ... And they don't think anything about bringing a dog they know isn't OK being touched or doesn't like kids... My daughter is just walking by and gets snapped at.
Last time it happened, we were at church... This moron brought her 2 socially maladjusted dogs onto church grounds on a Sunday and one of them snapped at my daughter.
She had the nerve to say, "Sorry, this one doesn't like kids."...

I'm a long time animal lover... I save wild animals and have rescued numerous dogs.

But people are stupid and some of them just shouldn't own animals.

yea im a dog guy myself and consider myself pro-animal rights, but this whole dogs-are-equal-to-humans thing really sets me off

they are categorically different, especially in terms of value of life. the problems with north americans is that their monkeyspheres are so diminutive that they grow more empathetic of their dogs than fellow human beings.

if my dog attacked a child i would have it put down, damn near regardless of the cirumstances

Forwarded this to PETA. Expect your car to get rigged with explosives in 2-3 weeks.

It was nice knowing you.
