So apparently on Inside the NBA Barkley & Kenny have us as the "underdogs" for the rest of the playoffs, awesome

He picked against Miami in the 2011 ECF
2013 ECF and Finals (even predicting a sweep for the Spurs after game 1)



I like Barkley for entertainment purposes but I can't help but think that he doesn't like Miami very much. It's quite ironic given how much he likes LeBron.

Lol they've been predicting losses for us for 4 seasons.

In terms of matchups, Wizards are probably easier but I want the Pacers in the ECF. Heat/Pacers were already scheduled to meet in the ECF again since the start of the RS

I actually wanted to see some fresh new faces as competition. I am so, so over playing PP and KG in the playoffs. Enough...ugh. I wanted the Raptors. I can deal with playing Indy ONE more time. I'd probably still prefer Washington though. Ease of opponent doesn't bother me one bit. As long as we move on to the next round.

To be honest, Heat-Pacers games are UGLY & boring but at the same time I want Indy for personal reasons. One of them is how bad they were bragging about HCA and how they don't see us coming out alive of Indy in a Game 7

Washington is cool but they just make way too many mistakes for me to consider that series going past 5 games

Wiz do have matchup problems for the Heat like the big duo of Gortat & Nene and also their bench is good but we would let John Wall take as many jumpers as he wants, similar to what Indiana is doing & that's also how we defended Rondo back in the 2012 ECF. Wall is a good player but he's never played good against us and he's easier to defend for our PG's because of our help defense & like I said we will let Wall stay out on the perimeter all day

It also doesn't help the Wiz that we can actually score in the half-court unlike the Pacers who is leading this series over Washington right now

I actually feel that the Wiards can do alot of damage to the Heat with their bigs (Nene, Gortat) and Wall's athleticism vs Miami PGs, but Indiana does have experience vs the Heat in the playoffs.

I am sure when they were covering the 2012 WCF (TNT was covering them that year), he explicitly picked OKC to beat Miami. I think at that time Miami was also down 2-3 to the Celtics.

Idk about Kenny or Shaq but nah Barkley actually picked us that year due to the fact that he says OKC takes too many jump shots & how they needed Ibaka to post up and rebound more

It seems every team matches up well against us in the post. For a league bereft in centers, we are at the shallowest end of the pool. If Beal and Ariza can put pressure on us from outside, then that becomes a more difficult series.
