I actually want OKC to fall on their face so Durant and Curry can get to talking. Durant needs that steady player next to him, who doesn't go all nutty....I know they are good friends and all that, but I could see Durant and Curry making history.

Yeah...I posted "Karma is a bitch" on the main board with Clippers whining about losing the game on the fould on Paul. Warriors likely win the series if Paul is called for his bull foul on Curry.... :banghead:

I'm loving the Clips meltdown. Actually both teams are trying to give this series away...not very impressive.

Anyone thinking Durant is coming here and leaving OKC is crazy. He's the MVP and had very good success there, positioned to win a championship or two. Right now we can only get star through a trade and Love looks like the best one available.

Warriors might have to give up Klay AND Barnes to net a guy like Love and even then I don't think it's fair value...Minny would want picks. Maybe a 3-way netting picks for Minny and trading whatever selection of non-Curry assets the t-wolves will accept...

Just face it, this roster is what it is. most likely scenario is they bring in another "bench big plus backup guard" type offseason haul.

Look back throughout nba history, stars never get equal talent in return, especially ones that are sure things to leave their team. Love can be had for three or four players, like Lee and Iguodala or Lee and bench guys excluding DGreen.

I just can't do that. My hatred for the Clippers runs way too deep and I think Durant is too likable. I also don't want them to fire Brooks, because I don't want them to get better either.

I would be surprised if he left OKC, but the Mavs are going to make a huge push for him in free agency that is already out there.

The Mavs go for the big FAs every offseason for the last three years and got noone. It's through a trade or very little chance of getting a superstar because the CBA gives the team that the player is currently on much more ability to offer more money and length of time on the contract.

Yep, just like we are rumored to be involved with every free agent as well. There have been exceptions where players have taken less, but for the most part, unless you do an S&T it just doesn't happen. We should have the assets to make a nice trade offer to Durant, if he wants to leave OKC, much more so than what Dallas can offer him. Dallas is trying to make the cap space available. Dallas also has the no state income tax that helps them too.

I agree with that. I rather have Kawhi.... Trade Barnes and Klay for Kawhi.

Ummm..no. Both? I would certain traid Barnes at this point....but even in that scenario Barnes may still end up the better player.

Barnes is being asked to create his own shot...drive....post up. Kawhi is just asked to be a roll player in a very good system.

Barnes value could skyrocket solely based on a better system....

When you spend your career trying to trick the refs, make them look foolish, and hurt opposing players, don't be surprised when the refs won't give you calls.

LOL at Blake asking "Where the f___ was that foul at?" after his 6th foul. You just clubbed Westbrook on the top of the head in broad daylight idiot. Did you think no one was watching?

I'm glad the Clipper bitches got what was coming to them. It's a shame though, I feel like the Dubs would have had a shot at beating OKC, they really didn't play that well overall and kept leaving opportunities for LAC.
