Doesn't matter Wizards or Pacers, it's just gonna be good fun.

Miami in 6 instead of 7 this time around. They'll steal a game on the road which they've done in 14 straight playoff series, handle business at home, lose game 5 at Indiana and finish them off at home in game 6. Then they will meet the Spurs in the finals and lose in 6 or 7.

They will play the Pacers, Indiana closes out Washington tonight.

That said, the Heat will win in 5. If it's against Washington, they sweep.

2014 NBA EC Finals: MIA (2) vs ?

Heat/Pacers for sure. Looks like we'll have to endure seeing Hibbert and Lance acting like they've just won a ring every time they go up by 2 points against us at home.

:: sigh ::

The Pacers might be sucking right now, but I just know IF they face Miami in the ECF again, they will bring it and be up to the challenge

Barkley said game 5 will tell if the Pacers are ready to advance. Doesn't mean they can beat the Heat but will be mentally ready for them and they come out and lose by nearly 30 at home. I'm pretty sure they will advance but I just can't see them giving Miami fits after seeing them dwindle down the past few months. Hibbert needs to start being a puss and play like he'd never played before and Paul George has to average 23+ in the series for them to compete. Otherwise we'd be seeing the Heat fourth straight finals appearance. :o

Remember how in 2011 people wanted to break up the Big 3?
The Big Three is done. It was a noble experiment. James and Wade deserve credit for trying to make it work, for being completely loyal to and unselfish with each other for an entire season.

Now it’s time to move on before they inflict further damage on their reputations.

I think Pacers/Wiz is a toss-up right now. Better than even chance it goes 7, and 50/50 as to who ultimately wins.

If Miami gets Indy and starts out on the road, I expect them to finish it in 6 or fewer.
If Miami gets Washington, I expect them to win in 5.

Both teams have some ability to give Miami matchup problems, sure, but ultimately, right now, neither of them execute on either side of the ball at Miami's level. Neither is more talented than Miami, and neither is better coached scheme. Overall, worse talent + worse coaching + worse execution = series loser.

Finals should be interesting though, all 3 remaining Western contenders present very different problems for Miami.

I agree with Mopper, I think IND/WAS is like 50/50 right now, especially if Wall can continue to play well.

If the Pacers meet the Heat, the Pacers are just 3-4 at home so far in this playoffs. That could mean trouble against Miami. On the other hand, Pacers seem to rise to the challenge when they play Miami.

Wiz are too inexperienced to beat Miami, IMO. But I do think they blew Miami out twice in Washington in the regular season.

Pacers will push it to 7 and lose on their home floor to the Heat in devastating fashion.

it will be fun no matter who we face

the Wizard feel like the feel good story of the Playoffs.. young Team who no one really had beating even chicago now could be in the ECF... nice !

and the Pacers.. well we know whats coming

but we had nice sucsess with Haslem on Hibbert.. so he likley wont go Shaq on us again for a whole series..

and the rest of the Pacers... West usually plays good against us but thats it... stephenson is on/off and PG will have trouble with Lebron on both ends..

Lebron is in Playoffs 2012 Mode.... even better when it comes to efficiency
Wade looks way better then last years Playoffs
Ray has found his shot at exactly the right time
Chalmers/Cole are finally playing nicely again

i`d say

Heat in 6 against the Pacers
Heat in 5 against the Wiz

and Finals will be epic again

its likley OKC or SA... either way

EPIC

Funny that the 2 teams that have made it to the Conference Finals on both conferences are not only the two teams that met in the Finals last year but are also the two teams that have been dominating the playoffs since 2005 in playoff wins

WSH needs to gives us those extra 2 days off by beating the Pacer tonight in exchange, we won't sweep them if they advance

I think the Heat have figured out the Pacers, honestly. I think the Wizards would actually give the Heat more problems.

I don't see either series going more than 5 games for the Heat though.
