West was destroying him. He didn't rotate defensively. He was given up the baseline. He missed a long two and a put back. It was time. When it was all said and done, our bench killed us and that's not on Randy. It's on EG.

West was balling but the Wizards were much sharper with Gooden on the floor.

He's going to be officially on notice next post season. He's too good to play this bad.

Wall made $100K more than Nene this season. Feel free to direct some of your salary-based ire towards him. Wall shot poorly, but he attacked the rim and played hard. Nene was transparent on defense.

He's pretty much late on every rotation and can't **** be bothered to defend.

I know nobody reads my posts but I've seen saying he's playing hurt. He injured his ankle in Game 3, came out but hasn't been the same since. Soft and lazy sure but also hurt.

We were essentially a .500 team, we gave the #1 seed hell. We killed the Bulls.

We actually have some respect in the league right now. I'm VERY happy we got the Pacers instead of the Hawks. We have flaws, Wall needs to get MUCH tougher and Beal will only get better. If the rail thin guy we have called Porter can actually eat some protein and lift weights next year will be interesting.

Resign Gortat and Ariza. I'm a happy fan, haven't seen this in my entire 20 years of being a Wizard fan. Next round we get swept by the Heat regardless. I'm proud of this team for the second time in 20 years.

It was a fun season but I don't want to see this same team next season. Gonna be an interesting offseason.
Welp, back to the Nats.

If you're relying on Drew Gooden to play 30 minutes to win a game, you're sunk.

West stepped up and put the Pacers on his back.

Washington didn't have anybody out there to match his effort and production.

As a Pacers fan I'd be disgusted with the teams effort though.

I just don't see how they have a chance to beat Miami.

Of course, the bigger issue is that Nene didn't show up tonight. At all.

He's gotten totally hosed on the calls.

At least three times Wall got clobbered at the rim with no foul.

If we had signed Collison and kept "West-killer" Vesely, we'd be preparing for the Heat right now. ;)

Give me a break. This series will be great for Wall's offseason. It's going to burn him. Every day he'll think about it and work harder because of it.

I get being upset and burned that you didnt play well.

But PLAYING WELL would have given him confidence.

Wall was shook this series. Its one thing to shoot bad (ala Chicago) but he was mentally broke by the Pacers. That cant happen with your max.

Now MOST of realgm/twitter/ worldwide will view him as overrated. So you're right in one sense....we'll find out if he comes back next year with fury (better jump shot, develop a post game, better BBIQ, etc) or he'll shrink in next years playoffs.

Its one thing if he dominated the Bulls and then came up short against the Pacers. Thats fine. Same thing happened to Jordan/Pistons, LeBron/Mavs, etc etc.

Next year will prove if Wall learned from a difficult moment(s) or if he just isnt a big time playoff performer.

When Gooden is outplaying your highest paid player, your franchise is pretty much screwed.

Good series. I like Beal and I miss Al from the Ron Artest days over here. Good luck in the off season.

I don't mind my team losing but j33$uz can we please lose in a fair game? Clearly someone had big money on the Pacers. That was laughable.

It's been fun. See you guys at the draft..oh right, we don't have a first-round pick. Will be an interesting off-season. Hopefully Beal and Wall learn from this. Not sure about the rest.

We really cannot get rid of Nene quick enough. His inconsistency is maddening. Oh yeah, the injuries too...
