Fantastic season

I really like Witt for what he's been able to do but..we really need a confident guy who's been there and done that to lead us forward. I hope Ted and Ernie realize that despite how far we've come. We can't relent now because it can go away just as quickly as it came.

West had a great game.

But the refs were just horrible.

I so hate this league sometimes.

Just not a fair fight when one team has the refs in their pockets like that.

Wizards over came them. They tool the lead. Then the refs just doubled down on dump.

Its sickening.

I hope MIA sweeps them.

put my emotions to the side now and look at the big picture. It was a solid season. Not great but not horrible and we made it further then most anyone thought. Dissapointing how good we were on the road only to suck at home all the time but the guys got alot of experience. Im proud of them overall. Its unreasonable to go from worst to 1st or 2nd. There is steps you have to take. Indy had to go through it. Now its our team. They were better and deserved it.

Nice by the fans at the end. The Wizards are in an interesting predicament this off-season. I don't think re-signing Ariza or Gortat is the right way though.

Leaves Nene in.

West was destroying him. He didn't rotate defensively. He was given up the baseline. He missed a long two and a put back. It was time. When it was all said and done, our bench killed us and that's not on Randy. It's on EG.

West was balling but the Wizards were much sharper with Gooden on the floor.

Yeah. Nene couldnt close out as well as Gooden. But even then, West was just on fire.

If you're relying on Drew Gooden to play 30 minutes to win a game, you're sunk.

A bigger problem is relying on Wall and Beal over 40 minutes each. They play on emotion and each took a few bad shots.

Beal was okay up until the end. I don't worry about him in year two. I wish the backup SG were stronger.

Wall's turnovers need to come down.

He's going to be officially on notice next post season. He's too good to play this bad.

Wall made $100K more than Nene this season. Feel free to direct some of your salary-based ire towards him. Wall shot poorly, but he attacked the rim and played hard. Nene was transparent on defense.

Wall $7,459,924
Nene $13,000,000

Do the math again bro

Props to the guys for an entertaining season.

We have some pivotal decisions to make this offseason.

Re-sign Gortat and Ariza?

Make a play for Monroe?

Should be interesting.

Now on to the Nationals!

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Nene cost us this series, he's been horrible defensively, non existent on offense. I can't believe he has two more years left on his contract SMH Ernie can keep his job of he can get rid of Nene. And oh yea, where was all that leadership and veteran presence from Nene?!?

So you want Nene as your starting center next season? Gortat will be re-signed unless he asks for 15M. I think they want Ariza but he's a West Coast guy and they drafted Porter. I'd say he's 50-50. I'd personally try to deal Webster but he probably has no value. You'd have to take somebody's garbage in return. They really need to improve the bench and find a quality MLE, a stretch four and another shooting guard who can fill it up off the bench.

We have to move Nene and get a young big back IMO

He is declining rapidly and is too inconsistent.

Also need a combo guard off the bench

Gosh you guys can be so extreme sometimes. Nene didn't cost this team the series. This team is still learning how to trust each other in pressure situations. No one player should carry a burden here. They all got work to do.

I've been saying that all year CCG about the backup 2. Beal plays way too many minutes and it showed early in the season when he got hurt. I've been harping on a Marcus Thornton/Gary Neal-type who can fill it up for 15-20mpg.

I would resign Gortat but get rid of Nene and Webster. Really Martel's liability to defend is annoying and his offense suxx so badly. Nene has huge contract and He is not worth it. He was most dissapointing player vs pacers. Don't forget his injury issues.
Randy it's time to move on with better coach. With better ideas and more experience.

Time to say goodbye to book, Al, Dre who was great for us many thx to him.

Extremely well said. You don't jump from a laughingstock to the Finals. We made solid progress.

For those saying to dump Nene for Ilyasova? We wouldn't have made it past the Bulls without Nene. Don't belittle his contributions. He has his flaws, but he played his ass off. I'm honestly not mad at anyone on the team. We found our groove when it mattered most, it WILL carry over into next season.

Just proud I could walk around NYC with Knicks fans unable to talk **** to me for once in my Wiz fandom.

Again, I'm proud for only the SECOND time in 19 years of the franchise. 19 years. I'll take that, second round taking the #1 to 6 games is a huge step forward. Lots of respect from the media, league and other teams. It matters.

Agree. He won the Bulls series and he wasn't the same player after he injured his ankle in Game 3 but again, nobody wants to hear that.

I'm just shocked about it.

It was all set up for them to call it even.

Why wouldn't they want a Game 7 on Sunday ?

Doesn't make sense.
