The Pacers have had a fire in their stomach for this series for a year now. They are built to dethrone Miami; big frontline, to exploit Miami's size weakness. Their entire identity is predicated on being the Heat-killers. They finally have homecourt advantage AND the passion and desire needed to dethrone Miami.

I'm actually less confident than the last 2 years. This team is so bi polar. You can't give away games against the Heat by disappearing. They're hard enough to beat anyway.

I actually think the Pacers have a solid underdog shot here.

Wade does not seem up to full conditioning. Birdman has a dinged up knee. No Mike Miller. Pacers have home court.

Still lean towards Miami in 6 or 7, but I would not be stunned if the Pacers win the series. I don't think the Pacers can win the Finals (unless the West team is injured), but I do think they can beat a weakened Heat IMO.

I genuinely don't know who is going to take this, I do know I will miss games whilst in Scotland. If, and that is a big if, we show up, we can take this. If we have even one of our silly off games we probably won't.

Got us in 7 at about 30% Heat in 6 at 30% and Heat in 7 at 30% with the final 10 going to us in less than 7.

heat in 6... pacers make too many mistakes and lebron is playing way too good right now.

edit: I don't think people will admit to this till after the season but the lebron we are watching RIGHT NOW is kind of like jordan on his 2nd string of championships. Although there was good teams through out the NBA there would be no denying Jordan and you knew he would get his ring at the end of the day. I'm feeling that same vibe from Lebron. He's too hungry for history, he's looking too comfortable in a half court set, he's looking healthy. I honestly can't see him being denied at this point.
