Stieber was fantastic yesterday. He'll be good next season, hopefully in the Bundesliga.

After everything you said before the game I took a closer look at him yesterday and I'm convinced: Preetz should get this guy!

Azemi is pretty good, too. A bit slow on his feet due to his size but technically skilled. A few more years of development and he could prove to be a great striker in the Bundesliga.

Schulz isn't going anywhere, Luhukay loves that guy!

I was at some Union games this year, love their stadium and their fans. Would be cool to see them in the BL, but it's not going to happen as long as Berlin's clubs aren't able to play well for both halves of a season

How about Hany Mukhtar on loan? I think he could be good for you guys and I don't really want to see him in Leipzig because he'll never come back if he's good there.

I know. I don't think we're a good fit for Hany though, Tusche has to play whenever he's not suspended so he'd have to play off the wing and I don't think that'd be the best fit for him. Plus we've actually got a few really talented kids coming up in the attacking band.

There's no live experience quite like a game at the Alte Forsterei. *sigh* haven't been back in the country to go to a game since last winter, but I can't even imagine how hard that stadium would explode if we had to host a promotion playoff there.

Pep Guardiola continuing his attempt to destroy Bayern Munich.

Mandzukic thrown out of the team ahead of the Cup final against Dortmund.

Thrown out as in they had a fight, or he wasn't included in the 18 for technical reasons?

No details yet, but it seems that Pep and MM fought again, and this time, Pep kicked him out for good.

In related news: Bayern is interested in flipping Mandzukic (+30M) for David Luiz.

Neither Ribéry nor Schweinsteiger will play in tomorrow's DFB Pokal Finals, both are injured. Projected lineups:

BVB
Weidenfeller
Piszczek, Sokratis, Hummels, Schmelzer
Jojic, Sahin
Micho, Reus, Großkreutz
Lewa

Bayern
Neuer
Rafinha, Boateng, Dante, Alaba
Javi
Robben, Lahm, Kroos, Götze
Müller

Note to self: When was the last time when the most physical Bayern attacker was effing Arjen Robben? Bayern could get 1000 crosses and won't even come near the ball. :o

That might just be bayern's best starting 11. The trio of Javi, Lahm and Kroos are as good as it gets, and if they can get up the pitch and shake off Pep's "coaching" enough to still play their game, Robben, Mueller and Gotze can be deadly. Of course with the way pep will send them out there and the way they've shut off for the season they won't, but with the right coach I think that's their best starting lineup.

Good thing rafinha sucks.

I actually went to the game against Sandhausen, which was played at Tusche's birthday. He had a great game and the crowd was crazy.

I can only imagine how amazing that was, I caught them last year right before the christmas break when they beat Bochum with Goretzka and someone else that I"m spazing out on now before going to the christmas signing along and that blew my mind. I think there were like 25 thousand people in the stadium for the caroling...and it still was only almost as awesome as the first time I got to be a part of the Torsten Mattuschka song.

I really hope Darmstadt can make it up over Bielefeld. Got some dislike for some folks from there and the club is just overwhelmingly bland whereas Darmstadt would bring some cool history and a great tradition-laden stadium that I'll be sad to see go. Doubt they'd stay up for long since they're even more screwed than Foye's Mainzer local-rivals wise. But still would love to see them get up, cause you never know when a team will stick around.

We are not screwed up, we are taking over the Rhein-Main area. :starwars
Well ok, we are indeed screwed. :noway:

Darmstadt lost 1-3 at home. Don't think they can make a comeback.

Alaba out. Bayern without Schweinsteiger, Ribery, Mandzukic, too.

Dortmund has to be the clear favourite this evening.

It seems like David Alaba got injured during Bayern's final practise and is a question mark for todays game.
If he can't play, then Diego Contendo should get the nod at left back.

That ball went in, from the looks of it. Dortmund got robbed.

Still rooting for Guardiola's men though.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Where is the GLT in Germany?

Thought they learned it after 1966, 2010 and that Ghost goal from Leverkusen.
