he was still a decent and serviceable backup big, and every time i got to watch him play and that's a very small sample size, he seemed to be manning up the center position respectfully.
more than anything, it is to close yet another chapter in our dysfunctional history and wounds from the past. I would think Kaman is still a starter level center in this league, and him and brand have worked well for a very long time.
