Rios with the familiar "sprint" down to first....

JP with the familiar strikeout to end the inning...

Feels good to see JPK strikeout on another team.

Darvish has no hitter stuff tonight. Going to be tough to hit and score any runs with him on the mound.

I see Justin Maxwell was DFA'd by the Royals. Could he be an improvement as 4th OFer? He's been terrible for the Royals this year, but he's traditionally hit lefties fairly well (.809 OPS vs LHP the past 3 years) owns a 15% walk rate and can play all 3 OF positions (majority of innings in CF).

I'm still not sure if it's a damning statement about my character that I have closely followed the progression of a random minor leaguer in another organization simply because he has a silly name.

Wow, Odor is already up with the Rangers. I'd imagine if he were a Blue Jay, he'd still be in Short Season or low-A ball given how slow they are with promotions.

I would take Maxwell as a fourth OF, maddening strikeout totals and all.

Always nervous seeing these batters breaking and smashing their bats. They could easily break one of the 8 bones in their wrist doing that and be on the DL in no time.

He'd be like our righty Juan Francisco acquisition, hopefully with similar results.
