Gonna be a very intriguing offseason, and probably the most important one in the history of the franchise.

I'm still blown away with the quality of the logos, I know the Jerseys/courts won't disappoint

I've been inside the practice court a few times, mostly when they have those press conferences. It's weird to see it all cleared up like that, but then again I'm very interested on how it will look like with all the new colors and Hornets logos/wordings throughout the court.

Doubt it, doubt it, and doubt it.

Yea, none of that has anything to do with this franchise even tho it will have the same name, if we're gonna retire anyones number it should be Gerald Wallace

I've never understood why franchise histories just dont stay tied to their respective cities, regardless of ownership or team names. That would stop debate on all of this.

there is no reason for the 1988-2002 Charlotte Hornets history to have any link to the pelicans just as there is no reason for the 2003-2013 New Orleans Hornets history to have any link to Charlotte.

Supersonics kept their history when they left Seattle.

I can actually see this happening eventually. Benson has no need for the history. If Jordan cut a nice check for a charity of his choice he would probably relinquish it.

Just in time for the lottery drawing. Luck of the Hornets look down upon us and bless us for we have suffered.

Was wondering for some time when they will begin the rollout of the name. Assumed it would be immediately after the season ended. Since they are doing it on the 20th, when is RealGM going to change the Forum name then?

We plan to change the name that same day.

Dream34 also apparently has the Forum Colors and Favorite Team Logo ready to go.

The Moderator Forum Icons might have the old Hornets Logo to start though.

I'm really excited to see The Hornets back in Charlotte. I never really was feeling it with The Bobcats.

VERY excited to get back to The CHARLOTTE HORNETS! Like anything it will take time to acclimate to the feel of things. But I've wanted this for a long time, so I'm thrilled to see it finally get here. Wish I could be at the first game, with the new colors and the fan reaction. Living in Florida I will just have to experience it via HDTV, which isn't all that bad.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Yeah agree. I myself are still calling and thinking of them as the Bobcats. I think it will take seeing the logo everywhere and also seeing them play a few games to fully take in the name change back to the Hornets. 10 years is a long time.
