I love that Joba and Kennedy are moving along together, that can be important and go under the radar. Hopefully they're good friends.

Looks like the Yanks are preparing these guys for a 2008 callup!

Fantastic news about these two guys. JUdging from MISTERRRRRR KENNEDY's......kennedy's last start it seems as if he's already adjusting. Joba will most likely follow suit because these two guys are special. THis is just great news.

Tabata back in the lineup tonight at DH. I figured he'd be back soon because there was no news of a DL stint.

If he signs within the next week, he'll probably start in the Gulf Coast League, which starts June 19th.

However, I've heard rumblings that he is recovering from some injury and they may not even send him to the GCL this year and just let him recover.

He is looking like an easy sign though, and quick.

He is recovering from an injury but he has been off his crutches for well over 2 months now and is close to being 100%.

Joba's AA debut underway: 3 innings, 2 hits, 7 Ks, 0 BB (struck out the side in the 1st and 2nd). The two hits were a flare and broken bat bloop...the 2 outs that weren't Ks were popped up and grounded back to the pitcher.

Can't touch him, the announcers have talked about how nasty his slider has been and he got Ks on curves as well. He is amazing.

EDIT: Starts off the 4th with a K on a swing and miss through his fastball
4 inning, 2 hits, 1 BB, 8 Ks

Announcer says "NASTY slider!"

Angelini is almost a definite about to sign. I'm hearing this through inside posters sources.
