Could you expand on that? I'm interested but can't find anything written on the website about it

That happened last year. May just have been a recap of the history between the two teams so far.

Yup, it was from last year. Vogel said "we're competeting for a championship and they're just another team in our way, that's how we approach it".
LeBron answered "we're not just another team, we're a great team, you don't prepare for just another team".
They asked LeBron if he takes it personally, LeBron said "absolutely".

I'm going to be a little realistic and pick the Heat in 6. Going this far Pacers will play much better since they despise this team unlike the first two rounds they barely coasted. They might not play like they have last year but something tells me they will win 2 games.

Sucks that the game is 3:30 AM in my timezone, but I guess it's good to know that there will no more early games again. I really can't wait for G1 man. Especially with Mark Jackson calling it too as well

Home court advantage is going to be big for the Pacers. The Heat need to split the first 2 games, if Indy can go up 2-0 I don't see them blowing that lead. Miami doesn't want any part in game 7 in Indy. Lebron would show up, but I can easily imagine the Pacers getting whupped up and feeding off their home crowd in that situation. Miami wants to make this a short series, Indy will only get stronger as it drags on. Their best chance is to win the first 2 games and take the suspense out of it.

As for the matchup, Lebron will get his, but his efficiency won't be as great as it was in the first 2 rounds. Wade absolutely needs to have an impact in most of the games in the series, he's the only other guy capable of creating shots against he Pacers defense. Bosh hitting shots in the corner and stretching Hibbert away from the hoop will also be huge. Lebron will look to establish himself at the rim early, challenging Hibbert physically and trying to force the refs to make calls.

Yeah, that 'fact' has been on full display for the past 5 months, right?

I see this as 50-50 series .. The heat barely broke a sweat in their first 2 series, while the pacers went through a lot of adversity, name calling, locker room and chemistry issues, and plus they have the extra motivation of not being eliminated by the heat 3 years in the row.

Pacers this year are battle tested IMO, so it's kinda surprising most people are claiming heat in 5 or 6. This series at minimum is going to 6 and will most likely go to 7. I don't really think home court matters a lot for the heat and given the home upsets we have seen this post season it's not farfetched to think the heat can beat the pacers in the 7th game.

I expect a very competitive and draining series for both teams. I'm worried about the heats supporting cast and bench. Besides lebron, who knows how the rest will show up. From the pacers standpoint, you know they have a point to prove.

The lack of respect for the defending champs around here is shocking

Just note that Pacers to win series pays 3:1 so if any Pacers backers are willing to put money on them the time is now; not when it's 1-0 (i expect them to win Game 1) and then 2-0 (i also expect them to win Game 2 :D)...

(But reality says they'll lose the series anyway)
