That lineup is sick. However other teams have good assets, and if we face competition i hardly see any of the two teams taking on boozer. As i said if they do both come is because it is an agreed upon thing, where one of the two teams takes less desirable assets than what is available. It is not only about the players, especially with love.

Hope to ve mistaken tough. That lineup is incredible and could be really enticing for them.

This thing seems somewhat similar to 2010..competition between the Bulls and a sunny weather team(LA). The Bulls have a lot of talent(this time it is more mature talent of Noah, Taj, Derrick) and cap-space for one big FA(if they dump some assets/picks). LA has one star and lots of cap-space if they dump everything.

The one advantage the Bulls get is the Love deal has to be done by draft day and probably not in FA time. And, he is still not a FA like LeBron/Bosh. I do think if the Bulls think Love/Melo are game-changers, they will go with all their ammunition unlike with Dwight or Melo in 2011 when they were consumed a little bit by their winning percentages.

We don't have to compete with offers from other teams. We need to compete for Love's interest. Not the wolves. We need to get Noah to go whisper sweet nothings to Love about Rose, Noah, Butler, Melo and Thibs. And how perfect and pretty he would be. If Love comes out and says I will only resign with Chicago, then the Minny has little leverage.

I guess I believe that he really wants to win, and what city he's in is secondary to that. It would take some serious balls to say no to Durant and Westbrook. Their potential lineup of Adams/Love/Durant/Thabo/RW would be in the finals every.single.year for as long as Durant is still alive.

Exactly! No time to be second-guessing with players. Get those two here and think about the rest later. If the Bulls are serious about a championship they better go all in. Rose you take care of Love, Noah you take care of Melo. Lets get a D. Wade "who's missing" photo and we'll be all good L2MS

Other teams could beat our offers individually but no one beats that starting 5. Let's see how serious these guys really are about winning.

I think a big market is pretty important to these guys especially when you see how OKC cut their spending in trading Harden/Martin etc... A big market can afford to spend to the max limits of the CBA and the athlete himself(especially secondary stars like Melo, Love) can make more money from outside the league.

A primary star like LeBron/Durant probably can thrive and make the same money where-ever they play(OKC or NY or LA). But, for guys like Love who is not going to be Durant or LeBron, he can use the bigger markets for branding, franchise popularity etc..

I don't think its all about winning. People want to play in big markets. And OKC isn't a sure bet, both Westbrook and Durant are rumored to be leaving when their deals are up. Particularly Westbrook. I don't think either resign.

The fact that OKC isn't on the list should speak volumes to your assumption. They are clearly the best team that could aquire him. But to be fair, they aren't going to pay the LT and Russ, Love and Durant on the max leave little money to fill out the roster. That was the whole reason they picked Ibaka over Harden. Money.

I wouldn't go that far yet. But if more information becomes available that shows an unwillingness to part with certain assets, then I'll happily get start that notion in the future.

Exacty...he would also have Wade in his office going over the plan. Tell Chicago you want to meet with them even though theres no way your going there lol Make them stall.

Why not? These guys feel assbackwards into a superstar after failing with their last "contending team." Now they can't even acquire another star for going on 5 years! What have they done besides building a mediocre team for 10 years now? They have failed on every opportunity other than a handful of moves over the last decade.
