the 3 pt swing on watsons offensive foul made no comeback possible. not even a flagrant either. guy was trying to score for an and 1 still and he fouled the arm with the ball in it. Just because watson is 5 foot tall and lebron is 7 ft tall doesn't mean a tap is a flagrant foul

Did you even watch the game? There was no offensive foul, he was pushed in the air and Lebron wasn't the one who fouled him.

It just doesn't make sense but I won't be surprised if Spo fails to come to that realization. Also, if Miami's counter to small ball failing is going smaller, it won't hurt to put Beasley at the 4. He will at least pull West out of the paint and make him work defensively. It's not as if going smaller has ever worked so there's nothing to lose.

I've been hoping Beasley would play all playoffs but its just not happening. Spo must have something against him. Yeah yeah, he's not a good defender but who is Battier shutting down? Who is Lewis shutting down? Just Spo-bot being stubborn as always.

Anytime a team has 20 more fts than another team the team with the least amount of fts will have fans complain. That is not a Miami Heat fan thing it is a sports fan thing in general.

James and Wade were both extremely efficient and got shots, but it wasn't enough. So do these two shoot more or do they hope the diluted depth does more?

Technically you may be right, I just think Lebron would have two be way way more agressive if they want to three-peat. He can't afford to just play "correct" Bball, I see satisfaction on the Heat, thats dangerous.

The Pacers played a better game. Screw the FT attempts and all that jazz, the Heat were playing some awful defense and Bosh has been regulated to a spot-up three-pointer shooter who got crapped on by David West. This series is FAR from over and I have my money that the Heat will take game 2.

But for that to happen the Heat need to play much better defense and Bosh really needs to step in a lot closer for the mid-range. But I suppose this is part of Spo's "master plan" to keep Hibbert away from the paint and have him guard the perimeter. But when Bosh ain't hitting, he's useless out there.

GG Pacers. On to the next one. Heat win game 2.

I'm not shocked mostly that only Heat fans posting at this point are the respectful ones (haven't seen wm3 though).

The irksome ones all seem to disappear after a loss. Can't say I'm shocked by that. Just pointing it out.

Can't wait for game 2. The gap between game 2 and 3 is huge. Expect to see all starters play 45 minutes in that one.

Miami needs to stop with this trapping defense. Pacers are smarter this year.

So much for the Wade and Lance drama, both of them played well I would say.

Heat need game 2 and will get it, IMO.

That was a great game for us. Our whole starting 5 played great and CJ Watson provided some vital production off the bench (although Miami's bench was still better).

3 point shooting was a big difference in the first half but it ended up balancing out (Indiana still shot better than Miami but they ended up only hitting 2 more 3s than them). The biggest difference in this game (for me) was Indiana's insistence at getting the ball down low to our bigs. We did a very good job at hitting the open man after Miami tried to trap the PnR ball-handler and then that open man did a great job at making the correct decision and either attacking himself or passing the ball to one of our bigs down low. That's how Hibbert and West went to the line (those two combined for 17 of our 37 FTs) and that's how we got some easy buckets for those two as well. In general, our ball movement was beautiful for the majority of the game (it bogged down a bit at the beginning of the 4th but it returned later) and played a big part in this win. The Pacers did an excellent job at making the smart pass and hitting the open man. We have to keep doing this if we want to advance.

I mean how often do you see a player make a flagrant foul, not say anything and get a technical. It happens so often.

Indiana played well and deserved to win. And surprisingly, the way I see it, they didn't win on defense. Miami's 3 was off, but it's not like they were getting bad looks. LeBron and Wade scored good volume on great efficiency and the Heat got a respectable amount of points (96 against Indiana is good).

But Indiana scored a lot too. 3 points were falling, Paul George, West and Stephenson were on fire.

Expect another great game tuesday!

He will be more agressive. I don't know why but he usually is much more agressive only when the Heat lose some game in a series. Remember game 4 vs Indiana in 2012? That was after a poor game 3 and the Heat were down 2-1.

Even against Brooklyn, LeBron was scoring low 20s. After the loss in game 3 he just came out really agressive. That's what I hope to see in game 2.
