I discussed wanting to trade MCW while he's overrated earlier in the season because I for one am not high on his potential or his style of play. I'm obliged that Hinkie may be thinking like me, like I expected. I also wanted to trade Jrue Holiday while the iron was hot, and Hinkie transpired my thoughts on 2013 draft day for my favorite prospect (Noel) and a lightly protected 1st rounder

I would be extremely excited to escape this draft with at least 2 out of the 3, Jabari Parker, Dante Exum, and/or Zach LaVine as a Sixers fan. Maybe there's a trade package where Orlando may be interested in pairing MCW up with Victor Oladipo

MCW wont go anywhere to be honest, at least in my opinion he wont. I think hes going to be a future all star, perhaps as soon as 2 years from now. If you guys end up getting Parker or Wiggins to play the 3 along with Noel along with a Lavine...

I'd prefer Shabazz Napier to usher in our next wave as the point guard than MCW. I'm not a fan. MCW is not leading us anywhere being so turnover prone, inefficient in shooting, and lack of defensive awareness. He'll be 23 years old at the start of next season. Last year as a rookie, he was basically a seasoned player without much to untap. That's without mentioning the fact that he's injury prone

I would be happy with...

Shabazz Napier
Zach LaVine
Jabari Parker
Thaddeus Young
Nerlens Noel

...as our starting lineup next season

Keep in mind that we're not trying to win next season. We want to theoretically tank into the lottery at least one more season

Let's just assume they stick with MCW

MCW
LaVine (pick 10)
Parker/Wiggins (top 3 pick)
Young
Noel

That team finishes bottom 3 again and will draft top 5 in 2015. And don't forget about cap space once these initial pieces are put into place. Philly is a really hip city as well and the pussy is unbelievable.

Damn. That'll add fuel to the fire and make a Kevin Love trade more likely to happen, even though I originally thought it was far fetched and too difficult of a task for Minnesota to accept that they need to deal him before it's too late

As a Sixers fan, I'd prefer to trade MCW. I'd take 'any' player projected in the top-20 of this draft class over MCW, even Gary Harris

If the Magic offered pick 12 who would you select as his replacement?

Shabazz Napier

I'm hoping we take Jabari Parker with our own top-3 pick, James Young or Zach LaVine with the Pelicans' owed lottery pick, and if the Magic traded us 12th overall for MCW, I would take Napier

We originally wanted Trey Burke as our future PG last year until Utah traded up with Minnesota to snatch him away from us. I would be completely satisfied with Napier as our future at PG

Of course in that trade for MCW I would expect for Hinkie to ask for a player from Orlando like Harkless or O'Quinn for depth purposes.

Thats just insane and dumb. MKA must be drunk. Wanting to trade the best prospect on his team for a top 20 pick in this years draft. Man, that is literally more hate than what BD has for Zeller. Trading the ROY (not much competition, but still) for a top 20 pick. Yikes my man

If Hinkie is smart, he better part with MCW now. My reasoning won't transpire until 2-3 years from now so I'll save the explanation.

Yeah, you're right. I didn't mean dumb as in what he said was dumb. I should've said something else. Sorry MKA.

Never thought somebody else would see it my way, least of all the Philly fan on this board. Sell on him while his value is at its highest. Those numbers are going to vanish once his team gets a starting five of NBA-caliber players. He could turn out pretty good eventually, but I wouldn't bank on it. If Philly can net a top 10 pick with him (and I think Orlando could be a sucker for him if they miss out on Exum) I think they've got to do it. MCW's numbers are crazy inflated and I think everyone was enamored by his insane debut game vs Miami where he damn near recorded a quadruple-double. I think he's a steal machine and a pretty good rebounder for a point guard, but he really hasn't shown anything else to me that makes me believe he's doing anymore than stat-padding on a historically awful team. His jumper needs a ton of work, and while the assist numbers are nice, who else was really going to handle the ball for that team?

Wasn't a fan of him before the season, still not.

High turnover prone (led NCAA in turnovers and was worst 5 in NBA)

Very inefficient shooter (sub 30% 3-point shooter)

Lack agility to defend position (Sixers defense was bad, but even worst with him on the floor)

Injury prone (will have nagging minor to major injuries every season)
