Thats insane.

Doesn't surprise me. Heat looked scared when Hibbert was on the floor. Wade hesitated on all his drives inside, only to throw it back out in sheer terror, resulting in a TO.

With no images at all to go on, so just based on comments and commentary from those sites I can load in under three minutes, it sounds like we won fair and square.

Pacers shot amazing from three, feel they need to keep that up going forward.

Pacers just had a ridiculously good game, no droughts and they were playing like a team, Heat didn´t play bad but they didn´t play their brand of defense. We also got way to few freethrows we´ll need to attack Hibbert more.

Miami fans were really confident coming into this
Series. Now you can see the subtle signs of nervousness... I can't wait to see how this series plays out

Not really. Most Heat fans predicted a competitive 6-7 game series while obviously picking the Heat. If you read the thread most of the people here saying Heat will win in 5 or this will be a short series aren't even Heat fans.

first of all props to the Pacers they beat us fare and square this game!

we just didnt play with urgency.. we played like in the regular season

i believe the Team will play with urgency in game 2 they know that it is crucial to split the first 2 to not be on your heels the rest of the way

and i believe the Pacers will not shot THAT good again.. maybe they will shoot above average the whole series but they where shooting 60% for 3 quaters... likley they cant sustain that

and i suspect the Heat 3s will fall a little better next game

it was a experiment starting Battier.. but Spo needs to roll with Haslem.. when he was in, the defence was way better

lets see how the next game plays out

i am tipping my hat to the Pacers for this game but i am not ready to say "they are back" ... remember they had great and horrible games back to back like it was normal this playoffs.. maybe it wont be "that" bad because they are motivated to play Miami.. but still... one game is not a great indicator

cant wait

That false logic applies to every single Heat game where they have more FT attempts.

You're delusional if you think it's false. JJ vs Lebron in the nets series, this was almost a completely different SPORT compared to the show the refs put on in that series.

And 2006, where you were handed a championship. Go ahead and compare this game to that series. Heat got out played. Terribly terribly outplayed. Give the Pacers some freaking credit.

I've never denied that we were massively outplayed. Be careful who you're replying to.

pacers HAD to win game 1 to have a chance in the series. Opposed to the heat who can still win in 6 regardless.

but now game 2 becomes huge for indy, if the pacers can go up 2-0 they will put big pressure on miami going back to south beach.

as far as indy being back i think their rivalry with the heat will keep them from sucking. Much like Chicago the pacers get up to play miami, unlike Chicago the pacers got health.

2011 ECF's LWWWW, 2012 NBA finals LWWWW. So we've pretty much played around with the 77% odds of team winning series after taking game 1.

If you told me the Pacers would only be 3 games away from reaching the finals after their early series with hawks id be shocked.

Maybe it's bad omen that they won game 1. Hell they got blown out in the other two game 1's.

The pressure is on the Pacers to hold on to the home court. The Heat know they have to win one in Indy and if they do, they know the series is in the bag.

no one is nervous, no one thinks indy is going to win the series.

Game 1 doesn't change that.

Why would anyone have more faith with bipolar pacers than the heat?

I agree. This series will be a dogfight. Indy may not be clicking like yesterday every game, but I don't think they will put up a stinker like the past couple series either.

What really irks me is the idea of the Pacers making it to the Finals. They've had their sights so solely set on Miami for so long and figuring out specifically how to beat Miami (rather than figuring out how to be great) that they would get embarrassed in the Finals. This is their championship right now

Am I weird for thinking that the Pacers were always going to make it this far? Wizards have no "playoff experience" and the Heat are a match up the Pacers are always up for.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.

No. Regardless of how horrible the Pacers looked, it seemed logical

And you know that they will show up against the Heat.

It's not weird thinking that it's just after the way pacers played the past few months including the Hawks series I just didn't believe this team would even make it out of semifinals. What should of been the worst #1 seed in recent times is actually looking much better now.
