Brooklyn Nets really really suck, they literally have no explosive players or guys that can get their own shot in key spots against the Heat. Who said we should go after Shawn Livingston?? He is fricking terrible and so is Deron Williams in big games

Roy Hibbert has really made a difference protecting the rim, Wish Drummond was a little taller then he could of been Shaq like

The Pacers couldnt miss, especially from 3 & were +22 on FT's, Miami was uncharacteristically awful on defense, especially Lebron.

Doubtful any of this occurs again.

When you play at 60% all the season and don't play defense, it's hard to back to habits.

I expected the Pacers to win their first game at home. I doubt the Heat expected a victory there. I think the rest of the series will be close and probably go all 7 games. These teams have set up their strategy for each other for over a year.

Lance Stephenson is also a screaming banshee after half of their plays if you want a team to win with barely any emotion at all

Seriously, go Spurs. They were dead even with the Heat last year, they deserve to win one more.

Of course, that might mean Duncan will retire, which would suck, but I want the Spurs to win. The fallout with the Heat could be enormous.

I dont care about screaming,I dont like players like wade that will give a flying elbow and turn around and act like the league owes him something,he comes off to cocky.

I was dicking around on the ESPN lottery to try and see what teams would pick anyone other than Wiggins (in their opinion) First. The only way it happened was: NOP got the first overall 1.1% chance, picked Parker. Pistons got 2nd overall, picked wiggins. and Minny got 3rd overall and got Embiid. Just counting our chances to "win" the lottery, we have 2.8%, NOP has 1.1% and Minny who has a 0.6% chance of winning. I'm not sure what the odds are on that specific draft, but 3 teams outside of the top 7 jumped.

Charlotte re-adopts the Hornets monicker officially today - all well and good, but they don't get to claim their past Hornets history from the New Orleans franchise. Larry Johnson is a New Orleans org alumni, not a Charlotte Bobcat/Hornet franchise Alumni.

Just bothers me is all.

Dumars is mentioned for the GM job in New Orleans if they make a change with Demps. Interesting. If he's bitter about not getting the chance to build around Drummond here, getting to build around Davis would be a nice consolation prize lol

I think he would be a good fit there.

Folks around the league have been wondering for weeks whether the team would bring back Dell Demps, the GM, for the final year on his deal after a disappointing 2013-14 season. The consensus is growing that Demps is likely safe, though ownership needs to see progress next season — and perhaps a playoff berth in the ultracompetitive West.

But Demps and Monty Williams haven’t always seen eye to eye, according to several league sources, and ownership is more committed at this point to Williams as a long-term organizational pillar.

Two names to watch if the Pellies eventually part ways with Demps: Joe Dumars and Bobby Marks, the Nets’ assistant GM. Dumars is from Louisiana and tight with higher-ups from the New Orleans Saints, a relationship that dates to well before any real possibility Tom Benson would ever own an NBA team. Marks is well respected and could become a candidate for the New Orleans job.

But neither has had any direct conversations about the job or lobbied for it at all with Demps still on board.

Larry Johnson played for them during the Charlotte days though. New Orleans only had the Hornets name for a few seasons, well after Johnson had played for them.
