A crushing blow to this team's championship hopes but I think Collison/Adams will step up and help fill in the void.

It will be difficult to offset the loss of Ibaka, but I think there is still a chance

Westbrook - Parker
Butler - Green
Durant - Leonard
Collison - Splitter
Perkins - Duncan

Jackson - Mills
Fisher - Belinelli
Sefolosha - Ginobili
Jones - Bonner
Adams - Diaw

Adams & Collison contribution will be crucial

I got a feeling Brooks will insert Lamb or Pj3 into the starters and keep his bench intact.
He has done that before...

Collison prob won't start. I think Adams needs to be inserted into the starting line up. Adams and Jackson will win this series or loose it.

Brooks will have to play Perk and Adams together @ some point.

Adams
Perkins/ Collison
Durant/ Butler
Thabo/ Jackson
Westbrook/ Fisher

what is Ibaka's actual injury?

I just saw a play after a Chris Paul floater...and ESPN consistently saying its his calf. What happened? a strain? a tear?

anywho...more time for Adams? He can grow up here just like Reggie did last year.
(i hope not).

It was weird, didn't look like much when he left the game, but its a "Grade 2 strain of the plantaris in the calf". I have no idea what that means, but it seemed like some sort of strain. I'm hoping Adams gets a ton of minutes, he played well against you guys last series, so maybe it gets him more good playoff experience. In a way it was a blessing in disguise to get Jackson the experience last year, and I don't completely discount pulling out an upset this series either, though much less likely. Great series by the Clips, thanks for keeping it civil on the boards btw!

It's a strain, but a calf strain actually is a tear. http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/sport-injuries/ankle-achilles-shin-pain/calf-strain

It says "there may be tightness and swelling in the calf for a week or more". If this is the case, I'm sure they are working on it and hoping the tightness and swelling goes down (I know, obvious comment). But with game 3 not until Sunday, that's a week and a half after the injury, and there could possibly be a reasonable chance he comes back.

I know it's smart to assume he's not coming back and prepare everyone for that scenario, with the plan for the worst, hope for the best approach, which is smart, but it sure would be nice to see him back.
That would be huge since the Spurs have adjusted their game plan to exploit the inside with Duncan.

Consider this: The Spurs averaged 41.3 points in paint against the Thunder in their past 12 meetings, 10 of which were OKC wins. The Spurs had 40 in the first half. The Spurs posted an absurd 126.5 points per 100 possessions, which is right on track for the 120.3 they had in the four regular-season games with Ibaka off the floor.
