I wouldnt even want Josh Smith if he was willing to play for free. He has no BBIQ and would instantly ruin the chemestry in the locker room. Mcroberts is the exact opposite and makes everyone he plays with better. Id like to see us lock up Mcroberts as our starting 4 for the future which is why I cant understand why we drafted Zeller and why were "targeting Monroe". When you add in the chemestry Mcroberts has with the current team and his unique style of play im not sure there is any PF I would want starting over him on the Hornets next year.

Did you think that when Josh Smith was the defensive anchor for a Hawks team that made six straight consecutive trips to the playoffs?

...or do everybody just live in the moment where he's a overpaid ill-fitted because he's playing out of position so he's inefficient player for the Pistons?

Yes this is the NBA, you get paid for what you can do now not what you used to do. (unless your Kobe) The pistons had tons of talent but could no win to save their life. Josh Smith does not play team basketball he just looks for stats. Mcroberts on the other hand all he does is look to make the best pass.

Smith is not a selfish player. He's just too confident in his inefficient long range jump shot

The PG we should go after in the Free Agency this year are:

- Shaun Livingston
- Ramon Sessions
- Mo Williams

I like Mo Williams out of this selection, and it's odd because I prefer Charlotte to sign a taller point guard. It's just that I think they'd get the most production and winning results out of Williams

I'd agree with all that.

Ideally, I'd like a bigger PG that can play beside Kemba at times. But out of those 3, Mo is for sure the best. His shooting would help us.

Napier, McDermott and an euro, Stephenson in the FA, re-sign Ridnour, Tolliver or CDR and McRoberts.

That's all you need, that's the roster right there.

He'd be a third stringer, I can live with that. I think we all saw that he is a better option than Pargo.

Please do not get Greg Monroe. I'd rather have Pau freaking Gasol than have to watch Monroe play basketball.

You don't see the potential of signing Greg Monroe long term? granted he'll be starting at the 4 but he can play 5 with the second unit while big Al is sitting, Moose can also take over for Big Al if he opts out after next season. Greg is also 24 so he can fit in with what we're building long term.

Will be interesting to see if he has any good ideas or not.

I think Moose would be awesome next to Biz, but we have that whole Al Jefferson thing, you know the guy who finished 8th in MVP voting? I used to say Moose was a better McBob, but then McBob started spreading the floor with his 3 pt shot, which Monroe definitely doesn't have.

Moose is a homeless man's version of Al, Al looks like Stojakovic compared to Moose. He really hasn't improved that much since he was a rookie and why I'd be shocked if Detroit matched anything close to a max deal for him unless they can get rid of Josh Smith. One-way, offense only centers just aren't worth it IMO, you can get Blatche for half the price probably and arguably have a better player.

He seems coachable, never heard anything negative about him. Clifford and especially Ewing should be able get through to him. He's young, athletic, hard working and skilled.

I definitely like him over McRoberts especially if Stauskas will be shooting instead of Henderson + McRoberts. I love the advantage of having him on the 2nd unit as well, alongside Biz to give Al more rest throughout the season. We could keep an inside-outside dynamic in place when Al leaves in 2 years. 2 years is plenty of time to learn Clifford's team defense.

He'd be competing against Jefferson in practice. I think that'd be quite the learning experience for Greg Monroe. Talk about an education, constant, daily Al Jefferson schooling the hard way.
