i've heard august. white home, purple road, teal alternate. not sure about pin stripes yet.

I wonder if any of our guys are going to wear the Jordan Grapes with the new uniforms?

If fats is right about the color schemes the grapes would look insanely good with the home uniforms. I can't wait to see them.

WELCOME BACK!! Great to have our team again! Say it over and over till it rolls off the tounge as it always did. If you only knew Bobcats, I understand the dilemma, but I promise you'll love the swarm and sting of this team better.

Anyone that can produce some signatures to pick from...I would greatly appreciate something better than a home-made sign. :lol:

Congrats to Charlotte for taking back its HORNETS! I'm very happy for you guys! I hope it's not true that the road jersey is purple. It should be teal and the purple jersey should be the alternate. Hopefully it's a modern take of their original late 80s/early 90s jerseys.

Do you guys think there will be any news from the news conference today? Like maybe the Hornets will retire #13 for Phils or retire other Hornets numbers, or if they will recognize the 1988-2002 Charlotte Hornets history, or anything like that?

They already announced Hugo will be back. The Bobcats' mascot Rufus "retired" yesterday. You can't have the Hornets and not have Hugo!

I doubt it, they'll stretch that stuff out for promotional events. The history still belongs to Tom Benson and NO unless they work out a deal or something.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping, that Benson will work out a deal. Benson is a NO guy through and through. I highly doubt he cares about the 88-02 history b/c it didn't happen in New Orleans.

It is revisionist history, but whatever. It happened in Charlotte, so let's not pretend New Orleans has any attachment to Bogues, LJ, Mourning, 1993 playoffs, etc.

The old school 90s floor design was phenomenal. Id be thrilled with a more modernized version of that.
