He always does...the key in hockey is knocking down the big bodies who obscure his view.

If king henrik was playing one of the three other sports in the NYC area he'd be on that Jeter status

40 saves one goal allowed that was all on zuccarello

Couldn't agree more. Hockey just happens to be the least popular sport in NYC discounting soccer. All he needs is that ring, lets keep chasing

I think if they take home the SC, then Henrik will get to that status. As he should be cause he is a pretty good looking guy and is damn good at what he does.

He kinda is already. I don't follow hockey at all and I know who he is and what he means, not only to the Rangers but to the sport in general.

I find the Rangers' success fascinating, and I'm sure if they win the cup more people in NYC might check out the NHL.

Rangers tickets are impossible to get. Hockey fans are another breed entirely. I love going to any hockey game that I can. My second favorite sport after baseball.

And once again, the ONLY team in NYC to make the playoffs thus far.

Great to wake up and my newsfeed was full of Ranger statuses. Sure, it's a bit like bandwagoning but the team deserves this attention and love. Great win last night, I was having a heart attack during the 6 on 4. Hopefully the Rangers keep this intensity up and don't ease on the gas with a 2 game lead.

Interesting article about AV:

It's amazing what happens when you have a system that works...something that The Knicks need.

to be fair the rangers have some great players on the team and arguably the best goalie in the league. Hockey has more parity than the nba, the knicks can be a team that win 50 every year and struggle to beat a team like miami, while a team like this years rangers could've been eliminated in round 1 or 2 by a couple of different bounces. I dont think that the rangers will beat the black hawks or kings in the finals tbh

Appreciate the honest and fair break down. If Hank stays hot though, I don't think you can count the Rangers out against any team period.

In hockey, every team has "great players" but those are NEVER the difference makers in a grueling Stanley Cup run.

Guys like Kreider, McDonagh, Zuccarello, Klein are the KEY cogs to this Rangers grind'em/hit'em lunch box squad.
