Yeah, Brothers has been pretty bad lately.

(Not referring to you) I do find it funny that people are acting like Joey Crawford is being sent in because Miami lost game 1 when Miami has a lower win percentage with him as an official in the Big 3 era compared to other refs. If Miami wins this game, I can already see people whining about refs.

The implication is that Joey Crawford is a horrible ref as he lets his inflated ego effect the games. In fact it is very hard to find people who can vouch for Crawford's objectiveness.

There's nothing wrong with that implication but people are saying, "I knew he was gonna be the ref for game 2 after Miami lost game 1". That's a different implication, basically saying the fix is in for Miami.

Edit:

Joey Crawford will be as much of the show tonight as the players. I just knew that he'd be assigned tonight's game after Miami loss Game 1 under Scott Foster's watch

I knew Crawford was going to ref this game as soon as Miami lost the first one. Even under Silver I see some things haven't changed.

When this is the reality:

Heat LeBron
9-6 (0.600) in games officiated by Joey Crawford
45-16 (0.738) in games not officiated by Joey Crawford

In fact, the last two playoff games in which LeBron has fouled out of had Joey Crawford officiating (Game 4 Boston 2012 and Game 4 Indiana 2013).

Crawford does let his ego affect the games. That is true. But he doesn't really play favorites. He has a "me vs everyone else" mentality that even though it takes away from the game at times, it doesn't actively screw either team more than the other. The only exception to that is when he goes on a technical foul binge.

My point is that he gets sore when someone tells him he is wrong and he holds it against them all game long. The 1st 7 or 8 mins says alot about how the game is going to go with Crawford.

Joey Crawford is great news for Pacers and heat haters. He's the only ref in the game who's willingly to stick it to LeBron and Wade. I don't think anyone else has let LeBron foul out.

I know Miami didn't create the '7 nation army' chant. But in the NBA it's essentially Miami's, I don't know why the Pacers fans have tried to steal it. Kind of embarrassing.
