I'm not ready to say I am against or for any trade involving our pick for a under performing/poorly utilized "veteran" (ie Josh Smith, Larry Sanders, Omar Asik, etc.)

My entire point is...we have to reasonable accept that we've already made way too many mistakes...our whatever move we make with our draft pick...either selection or trade...will likely completely seal the fate if we can build even a playoff contender around DeMarcus Cousins. I truly believe we are 1 bad move away from staying in the lotto for the next decade.

I'm not ready to jump to any trade or selection just yet...I think the organization simply needs to double, triple, quadruple, (whatever you call checking for the 100th time) on any move. Because I think it's going to be so vital and crucial to the success or failure of our team.
