Small sample size much?

I know for a fact that Shane has been only talking the ABSOLUTE WIDE OPEN ONES like only once or twice a game. Not a real contributor of all 4 there.

Ray Allen has made the most important 3s in the crucial situations in this postseason to me. :)
And he is actually spreading the floor because he IS a threat and not afraid to shoot whenever he is in the game.

Yeah, I hate to see him go 1-1 or 1-2 in 16 mins... that's almost 16 mins of playing 4 on 5 on offense!

It may not look bad on the stats sheet, but when you have a really passive player or two on the court, your offense will naturally suffer from it. We go 3 on 5 or sometimes 2 on 5 on offense at times (with mainly just LBJ and Wade) and it just irks me to watch it! I hate to bring it up, but we need to play more like the Spurs and our shooters need to shoot with confidence :)

Oh you want him to get criticism because Lebron did when he was losing? Thats what it comes down to right...Lebron

So let me get this straight.. Lebron plays for the heat, and I'm a heat fan.. But I'm getting called a lebron fan because I want the best player in the world to be universally agreed upon that he plays for miami rather than okc? Interesting.

I'm strange because I'm rooting for a heat rival to lose and gain some heat? Ahh you must be one of those posters who try and bash on heat fans and don't realize the fail in your post.

Just wondering, where were you during the heat-Knicks days when heat fans hated on Allan Houston and Ewing? Were we lebron fans then as well?
The only person "strange" is you, for showing up to defend players when that's what sports is all about..

Lol @ you.

erm you have missed the point

no sane person will ever say durant >lebron at this moment. I haven't read anybody even say that, and that includes OKC fans because its not true. People always say Durant is the 2nd best player in the league and thats where it stops, so i am not sure where you are going with this unless you only want people to talk about lebron james and you get upset when durant is being spoken about?

OKC and Durant are not even rivals to the heat lol? They don't even play in the same conference and they probably won't play each other again in the finals for years to come
Pacers, Bulls and even the Spurs should be ahead of OKC

heatlespeatles wrote:True they have off nights, I just think this is a series that he can still dominate, doesn't have to look like as bad as he's looking. Geez they lost one guy, fine but it should be at least a bit more competitive. Dude is pretty much chilling in the corner while ginobli defends him, I mean I understand kawhi but anyone can defend him now because it's almost like he's totally given up lol

This is the same spurs that the mavs took to 7 (blah blah Carlisle we know). I don't expect the thunder to win but I do expect to the MVP and scoring champion to go down gunning. Empty the clip. Only person playing aggressive is Russell and Reggie (as has become the case when **** gets tight).

P. S. I really just want us to win our series. I could care less about the WCF. But this is a message board and a thread about around the league. Stop coming in the around the league thread and get mad people discussing things, guess what, that are around the league (not aimed at you but everyone crying)

Nobody should be able to slow him down, his skill set and ability is too good for that. But I think if had dropped 40 last night they would've lost. And I'll hold Russell Westbrook to that same standard. He is supposed to be one of the best guards in the league, he can't shoot 7/24 either. Just like with Wade and James in our case, they both deserve criticism if OKC gets bounced.

The reason Dallas kept the series close against San Antonio is based on a good game plan more than anything. No individual on the Mavs was playing out of his mind, but as a collective group they were well prepared and took everything out of the Spurs. Although I'll always hate the Mavs franchise, I think they could've easily bounced a team like OKC out in the first round just based on their good coaching and the discipline with which the players follow the game plan.

Not true, ALOT of people have said this. Even on news media. Even while commentating, they act as though they aren't sure or that he has surpassed Lebron. On here too, we had "Heat fans" saying they think Durant is now better.. Hall of famers even have been like well, Durant....you know...blah blah he gets the hype. But he never has to take the blame, its all shifted to Westbrook.

Again I don't get why y'all are so mad people are discussing this, sheesh :banghead:

Stop feeding the troll, dude. He has a history of coming to the board after every bad KD/OKC game and picking up fights with Heat fans. Ignore him.

Whats the all time playoff PER?

How close is LeBron from breaking it?

I think he's about to put up some huge #s in Miami.

Dear lord Hakeem...

People forget how dominant LeBron was in 09.

Even though....I still think Wade should have won MVP that year.....LeBron was unreal in those playoffs. Would have been great to see him play against Kobe. But then again...thats the Cavs for you.

But looking at those #s...LeBron has a chance to have the highest playoff PER for a champion though....that is still within reach (assuming he continues balling and we win it all again)

That's not how it works. You said it yourself, Shane only shoots when he's open. And if he hasn't shot a lot then that means he's rarely open...which means he's being covered...which means one less defender that can clog the pain against LBJ/Wade

Hakeem played 4 games that year in the playoffs and lost 3-1 to Dallas. So I think LeBron's 09 run is more impressive than Hakeem's 88.

Jordan had 32.04 in 91, which is the highest for a champion. I don't know if LeBron breaks that. Would be nice tho, on top of a ring.

Aside from the 3peat, I'm more interested if LeBron manages a 30 PER/.300 WS/48. He's done it once before, in 09. Jordan only did it once (in 91). No one has done it twice. Only players to manage that in the playoffs are LeBron 09, Jordan 91, Chamberlain 67, Mikan 54, and Kareem 77. Hakeem as well in 88, but he only played 4 games so I'm not as willing to count that.

I don't know.. that's a fine line. I think he passes up a lot of open shots.. I don't believe that he lets it fly like most confident (and some unconsciously shoot happy) shooters do.

For one, I don't believe that he CAN only shoot once or twice per game in whatever minutes he has been given this post season (esp. opponents are well aware that he is timid). He has been way too passive and that's a detriment to floor spacing, and that's my only issue with him.

Someone said he is shooting 46% form 3? Great, shoot more and opponents will struggle more on defense!

how bad do you think the cavs fans will react when Lebron re-signs with the Heat? i expect more burning jerseys tbh and many calls of traitor LOL. it's very sad to watch but I can't help but take it all in. all the mental gymnastics they are doing to convince themselves that Lebron will return. that he OWES them something  man it's gonna be brutal and i'm gonna eat it up.

why would lebron leave? we don't treat him like crap if he fails. and for the most part we leave him alone when he's not on the court. plus he plays for an organization that knows how to win more than the lottery.

LOL.
Wow.
