If Wiggins is Gone and Embiid is being a douche....trade back or take Parker.

With the current uncertainty surrounding Embiid and Wiggins likely to go #1, my preferred scenario is to trade down to #4 and pick up a 1st from Orlando and hope to get Exum at #4, but settle for Parker if Exum goes #3.

The last thing we should do is draft a guy because he "suits perfectly" with a player many of us want off the team. Go through the normal evaluation process, rank the players, pick the highest ranked player. Its that simple.

This is going to be a great next month with posters from ORL and PHI coming over here to try and sort things out and toss out trade ideas to convince us to allow them to get the guy they want.

The fact you've got multiple guys in the mix at #2 is huge for the Bucks from a PR standpoint. Fans will be debating this at backyard parties for the next 30-days. It will create more buzz for the team.

This. I mean what's more helpful for this franchise? Getting our asses beat in four by the Heat with Bronta or having CHOICES in a loaded draft?

People may actually begin to have hope again...

Absolutely this. It doesn't matter how many times you say it -- always draft BPA in the first round -- some people just aren't going to listen.

Everything Edens has said publicly is they'll let the basketball people make the basketball decisions. However, it certainly wouldn't surprise me if Eden's and Lasry preferred Parker due to his popularity and notoriety amongst Milwaukeeans. I, for one, prefer Exum.

"They need someone who can score. I sorry in this deep of a draft I wouldn't my organization on the "back" of Embiid. Who is going to score for them next year? So let's say they take Embiid(understand I wouldn't mind this at all) will he even start for them? Your paying Larry Sanders and Illy way more money than what they are worth. If they take Embidd they have to hit on a scorer with there 3 picks in the 2nd round."

This is the **** i have to deal with in my circle of friends. They think they are basketball experts. Every once in a while I wonder why I spend so much of my time on a message board with complete strangers. Then i get into these discussions with friends and understand exactly why I'm here every day.

We can't take Embiid because we pay Sanders and Illy to much. This 16 win team is a scorer away from taking us out of the top 10 next year.

I'll be pissed if the owners take a page from Herb Kohl and meddle on the pick. If Parker was Hammond's (McKinney, etc.) BPA great but if he's not then get the hell out of the way and stick to your words or admit that it's your pick.

Translation: Don't believe a damn word that any team says over the next month.

Look at last year's draft. Everyone thought Noel was going #1, even he did based on his draft day expression.

It's all BS and posturing.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Very true. Thats definitely exciting. I just wish I had more to offer at those parties (starting this afternoon) than, "Well, I like all four of them. But all four of them have weaknesses. I'm not going to do backflips or flip out if WigginsorEmbiidorParkerorExum is the pick." Again, I'm comfortable with the fact we'll get a very good player. And hopeful he's the best out of the bunch when we look back in 3-5 years.

If Cleveland passes on Embiid, I think it's a good indicator we should be as well.

You want to base the decision we make on our pick off of the decision that a franchise as horrendous as Cleveland is making?

That doesn't seem like the best way to go about things.

I'm starting to like the idea of Parker a lot. I'm almost ready to take him over Wiggins.

I have an idea (maybe my worst ever).

Trade Giannis, Henson, our 1st next year, Sanders, Ersan, Brandon Knight and all of our 2nd round picks for the other top 4 picks in this draft. Then take Wiggens, Embiid, Parker, Exum, and Vonleh just as your starting 5 for the next 6 years.

(please don't ban me; just having fun)

I want a second lottery pick. I hope we can get one for Ersan, or Henson
