My understanding is that Tellum has denied the Bucks access to the necessary medical reports. If he DOES fall to #2 I would HAVE to assume is was medically related. It's an awful spot but I just don't see how we end up with Embiid.

I am surprised how down on Wiggins they seem but surprisingly high on Parker

I was more surprised that they didn't even consider Exum.

I have Jabari as my #4 guy, but I can't lie. I think he's a perfect fit for us with Giannis and Larry. They can help to cover up his deficiencies while I think he can be a mismatch for a lot of PFs.

This. With the length the Bucks already have in place and the lack of any type of secure scorer, Jabari Parker is hands down the most "logical" pick for us at #1 or #2. If Parker is a hard worker and competes 100% of the time, his defense should gradually come around. Playing defense isn't rocket science and hiding weaknesses comes from good coaching so if Parker is the pick then I sure hope they fire Drew lol.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

i'm not some huge parker fan, but i don't understand why people act like he has 0 ceiling. he has plenty of room to grow. is he the most athletic player ever? not even close, but that doesn't mean he can't get better. one of the biggest things i just shake my head at when i'm reading it. i actually think with proper nutrition and training, his body has a lot of room for growth. we haven't seen what a sculpted jabari parker can do yet.

imo, we don't take embiid at all. because if cleveland passes, there's something wrong there imo. so if they go parker or wiggins, we take the other. it's that simple imo. obviously though, exum can still move up between now and the draft depending on how the entire eval process.

Not sure how significant this actually is in terms of his back, but it's crazy how easily he can throw it down.

The force he put into those jams tells me his back isn't bothering him much if at all right now. Not going comment on the likelihood of it hampering his career but the dude is a ridiculous physical specimen. That plus the combination of footwork, face-up ability, and back to the basket hook shots with either hand is so unique. He's the next great C if healthy.

Basing what you do off what a franchise that could never win a championship in 8 years with one of the greatest players of all time does is not smart.

I hate putting any stock in highlight videos...but I just can't get over how fluid he is. It's ridiculous.

He does look stronger and thicker than he did at Kansas too. Dude is going to be a beast.

it's a completely new GM. i don't see what their past has anything to do with anything.

the point is, if embiid really has been the #1 prospect all these months according to all these insiders. if he's being passed on, there's legit reasons. and if we have no evidence that that back is good to go, i don't see how you can just blindly take a guy. that's stupid.

Dan Gilbert is the problem not the GM's.

You mean Embiid isn't in a full body cast?

Well I feel much better knowing that we can get Wiggins or Embiid. I feel much worse knowing that Embiid is probably far and away the best prospect this year.

still can't believe people think embiid dunking in a setting like that means everythings fine or even close to fine. like i've said before, pain killers and the like can make a lot of pain go away.

i want concrete medical records, and examinations by about 10 different independent doctors and my own before i invest the 2nd overall pick in this draft on him.

What in the world would pain killers have to do with anything? The problems he supposedly might possibly have would be reoccurring stress fractures in his back, once they heal back up before he got another he wouldn't need painkillers to get him through anything.

we really don't know with 100% certainty the issues with his back. it's not unfeasible he could still be having issues and using shots/pills/etc to make it look like he's fine. back issues aren't usually things that just go away quickly.

That's some serious tinfoil hat line of thinking.
